I don't normally eat at places in the mall. But I was starving. I wanted a meatless meal and Noddles with veggies sounded good. Right?
Wrong! Please do not waste your time with this place. Take the free sample of you wish but keep walking. The cook dumped noodles in a styrofoam box, sprinkled with lettuce ONE small broccoli and two tiny flakes of carrot. I looked at them, looked at the pictures and asked where are the veggies. He said, that's it.
Not wanting to point out that what he gave me was garbage, I took it as a lesson. Also, not even the soy sauce could bring flavor to the noodles he dumped in the box.
Thanks for the lesson.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eben M.Oviedo, Orlando, FL47104176Jan 28, 2018
I moved to Florida seven months ago and went to the Oviedo mall just to see what it had to offer. Well most locals will tell you this place is dead, its a bit slow but Sarku Japan in the food court is a hidden gem in the Oviedo Mall. The place only offers five items for mains but the only one you need to order is the Famous Chicken Teriyaki. It comes with rice and vegetables, the chicken is cooked on a grill in front of you, glazed with Sarku Teriyaki. The flavor of the sweet sauce and grill makes it taste so yummy. If you are into a quick Teriyaki then give Sarku a shot.

I havent eaten here all of the time when i was back home in fort lauderdale and they did a great job. I was a ticked off by the unequal proportion they have us. I ordered a chicken teriyaki double meat and a vegetable soba and the vegetables were merely a scoop and the noodles were about 7 mouthful.. what kind of proportion is that? They looked at me as if its okay and asked me why i didnt take it. I told them its not right to just cut mine in half for someone else. I asked for a refund. I was pretty pissed by the time i had the other order. The food is good but i hate the new employees in this place. I hope they get fired.

Really rude owners. I asked for a couple of water with ice. I don't mind paying but yelling at me for a dollar really shows they don't care about their customers.

Keeps hanging up on customers when they call. Rude staff. Both a male and female hung up on different calls like they don't have patience to talk to you and the call was probably only 30 seconds in. So they just hang up! Who does that?!!

So I'm walking through the mall and this guys giving chicken away. Ok I guess I'll try one to make the guy feel better. So if you don't want to eat a huge plate of yummy chicken stay away from the free chicken guy. The combo of teriyaki chicken and vegetables is always a treat at the mall.

This place made my son and I have a stomach virus. We were sick for days. Do not eat here. I thought with the found being hot I wouldn't run into any issues but that wasn't the case here. Had to take my son to the ER.

Lady at register is still unfriendly and rude. Food is still good, but she is so rude.

I love the Sarku chicken. I've never gotten sick..I eat here when we are in the mall. I wouldn't avoid it because one reviewer got sick once. Again...the Saku chicken is the bomb.
