Sanpeggio's Pizza

I've been in Birmingham three years and this is by far the best pizza I've eaten so far. Love the toppings, love the crust and it's quality food

Pretty good! Definitely a number of steps up from the old Alfredo's Pizza Cafe, which used to be in this location. The pizza was good, and the chicken alfredo was decent too!

I noticed this opened a few months back and had been planning in checking it out. I have tried other locations and been happy with here food.
I stopped by for lunch, and ordered the ziti with meatballs. I didn't get a drink because they only have soda; no water or tea. The ziti was lukewarm. The sauce and meatballs were a little on the bland side, but pepper flakes livened it up. The garlic bread was extra crispy and burned to charcoal around the edges and bottom. I didn't see the bottom was burned until I tasted it. As it it tasted of carbon. I am surprised they let that out of the kitchen. The bill with tip came to over $15, and I don't think the meal was worth that. I think they need.to look at what they are putting on people's plates before it leaves the kitchen. Non-soda drink options would be nice as well.

Had a appointment in the Greensprings area & wanted pizza afterwards with their new location being directly across the street...I had to! I ordered their calzone & a small Greek salad! It was absolutely delicious! I built my own calzone & it had the freshest ingredients 10/10! The salad was fresh & I was torn between the house ranch & Greek dressing so I tried both! I highly recommend Sanpeggio's! Next time I'll try one of their specialty pizzas I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu! Sorry no pics I devoured it!

I ordered the Hawaiian Punch Pizza along with the Tiramisu.

Let's start with the positive.
The pizza was hot and looked really good. Service was quick as expected for a made to order to restaurant. That's all on a positive note.

The pizza wasn't that great. It was just ok. The service was also just ok, very transactional. The piece of tiramisu I got was better than the pizza, but the presentation of it wasn't good.

Not sure I would return.

fave pizza place when i don't feel like cooking dinner! Pepperoni and Cheese Blend Pizza

Went here on a Friday night at 8:00 and there was only one other family there. The ambiance is very casual, possibly too casual as it is a place kids can treat like a playground without people intervening. Basically like a fast food restaurant but not very fast, more like 20 minutes for food. The food was fine, but I've had much better pizza at other casual places. Overall, it was fine but wouldn't be in my top choices of places to get pizza or Italian food in the future. Everything is disposable even for dining in.

Best Greek salad loaded with veggies and feta! Calamine are so delicious and the crust is perfect. The meatball sub is dang good too.

Not bad but not at all what I was expecting. Definitely better pizza places around. It seemed like premade pizzas. Just wasn't what I was expecting. Service was good but quality of pizza was lacking.

The pizza was good and the guy running the place was nice. I had a thin personal pizza with sun dried tomatoes and spinach and it was solid.
