So, yes, I'm a fan of the green stuff. I'm never impressed with a salad I make at home, but there's always something way better about a salad someone else makes.
I chose the bbq chicken full salad, whilst my husband chose the wild salmon. I will say that it was a bit expensive for how little chicken I got, so that was a bit of a disappointment, but I did enjoy the salad - the tortilla chips were a little salty though! You could choose which dressing to have (I chose the ranch, should have gotten the jalapeño ranch) and it came with barbecue sauce for the chicken. I kept the sauces on the side to control how much I added.
The staff who served us were delightful. The restaurant was clean, and I love the green theme, really adds a bit of positivity and vibrancy to your experience. The soda dispenser wasn't working, and only served juice which was a let down, but hey, might as well drink some water if you're going to be healthy, right? Hmm...Helpful 16Thanks 0Love this 18Oh no 0 - Laure J.GA, GA580210383Feb 6, 2017
Let me start with the positive, this place is very clean & spacious. The staff was personable & kind.
I should say I have a rule about salads and basically, that rule says I can't pay over $8 for a salad that is anything less than magnificent cuz, i mean-its lettuce. Salad Creations has caused me to break my rule.
I had the Caesar, it was iiight. I think the base price for the full salad was 7.99, but i then had to add about $3 for meat & the portion just wasn't anything I thought worth $10.
So for me, its a no dawg. But hey maybe the panini's are LIKE DAT! I'll never know.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - sandra b.Scottsdale, AZ2204116Jun 2, 2019
Met the owner and he is a wonderful person. The food here is great! I'm in from out of town but will be here to eat several times this week. I had a chicken Italiano panini My friend had the spicy southwestern panini.

If you're looking at this on yelp there is a hot probability that salads get you jazzed. That's not me... I got a Panini. It is called Napa Valley Veggie Panini and it was beautiful inside and out. Yay.
Unfortunately I think our group of 7 overwhelmed the guy behind the counter. He seemed frustrated the whole time but he was still professional and efficient.
It was good food but not the best experience. I'll recommend it though because maybe that guy was just having a rough day. Be niceHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Max P.Nashville, TN853417Aug 3, 2017
Only leaving a second star because the place was clean... I ended up ordering a buffalo chicken salad and it honestly looked good. However, it only took me two bites to realize that I made a terrible mistake. My chicken honestly tasted like baby food fish and I almost puked. The service wasn't too great either. The two employees made it seem like they would rather do anything than slice an avocado to add (that I was gladly going to pay an extra $1.50 for).
Definitely would not recommend to my greatest enemy and would never eat here again.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jan 17, 2014
Really enjoyed it.
Something to remember. If you order a salad with turkey on it, you'll get turkey lunch meat. If you're ok with that, then go for it. If not, opt for the chicken. It's "real" chicken breast, chopped up...that comes in a variety of flavors.
Had both a sandwich and a salad and they were both excellent.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The only problem I have is that the prices are not posted on the wall menu. I really had no idea how much it would be until they rang up my order. It was about $20 for a full salad and a hot sandwich.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ijene L.Annandale, VA476155645Jun 14, 2017
Listen... i'on give a flying artichoke heart how delectable your grass is, $14 is too high for a salad. I want the whole damn head of lettuce or at least a morbidly obese chicken breast for these crack prices.
As far as salad and sandwich joints go, this is a nice one though. I mean, it's sitting in prime real estate in City Center in Oyster Point and you can sit outside and ppl watch or gaze at the huge fountain which is scenic and relaxing. The restaurant itself is clean and bright and the staff is cool... But 15 bux for 8oz of salad? Dammit Batman! There isn't a 24 karat salad on earth in this life or the next that is 15 dollar good. The toppings are skimpy and EVERYTHING is extra right down to the dressing.
Ijs... healthy options irk the hell outta me because they're always insanely priced. I can literally get my nails done for the same price of my designer salad. That's just annoying af. BUT it's not like it wasn't a pleasant dining experience so there's that. So... i'on know... do with that what you will. Best I can do is 3/5 stars until veggie joints study a McDonald's menu price point. :) But if you ballin and money aint a thang, yep come get ya some salad!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 9Oh no 0 - Jacques F.Washington, DC2123Jul 21, 2016
Fresh and Fast.
After a long drive to Newport News, we were starving and looking for a healthy dinner option. When we entered Salad Creations, the first thing I noticed was the clean appearance and smell. I was torn in my decision between the two salmon creation options. Kendra, the young lady behind the counter, recommended the ginger glazed salmon creation and I'm so glad she did! Fresh, crispy, with just the right amount of flavor. Every bite was perfect. I would've liked more lettuce options, but I'm not complaining because my creation was D-licious!
This is a great place to go for a tasty, fast, and fresh creation that you won't regret.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Xerxes N.Scottsdale, AZ178012118301Dec 15, 2015
So I decided to go healthy today... I mean, Tuscano's is right across the street and I could have ate myself into a food coma but my buddy and I decided to meet up over a salad at Salad Creations.
Take Chipotle-style ordering in the salad world. All the types of greens are available, choose all your toppings, pick a protein, and add your dressing. Easy peasy.
Some things that I liked: roasted garlic, red onions, edamame, roasted red peppers, and a hard boiled egg. I went with grilled chicken with oil and vinegar. All good...
When everything was chopped up and I was presented with a final product, everything looked okay and tasted okay. I suppose you can really can't go wrong with salad so long as everything is fresh. I've had fresher salads before --- crunchier, fresh looking greens, a little more protein. But overall, not a bad salad. Simple and easy.
A decent spot if you want to eat clean.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
