Is this the same place as Thai Delish but with a new name?

Our restaurant did use to be Thai Delish, but RusHour is a new Asian Fusion restaurant. We offer Thai, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Hmong food. We also offer Ice Cream Rolls.

I wanted to try this place so I bought a Dine Out Fresno County deal and was happy I did. Not only did I get to try their food, but I felt I was helping my community by participating in the purchase of the gift cert.
I ordered the Pad Thai with Tofu.
They gave me a choice to have the tofu ied or not, so I opted for the healthier non-fried option. The serving size is big enough for 2-3 meals. It had so much sauce and not much tofu or bean sprouts so I just saved the rest in a contain i brought with me (gotta be mindful of the environment!). The next day I added more tofu, an egg and some green beans and I had another few meals out of that with all of the excessive sauce. I will come back and try their other items but probably won't order the same dish.
The service was friendly and quick. The place was super clean and there was no one in the restaurant dining so I had the whole place to myself!
Parking
Plenty of parking in the lot surrounding the restaurant. I mean it was a Saturday at noon so I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a line.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jul 29, 2021
I've been waiting to try food from here for a long time. So when we passed by we made a quick stop to order food.
Service was crappy. We weren't greeted. The cashier looked too busy with whatever she was doing. There weren't anyone else in the restaurant. The price is different from their menu and cash register. We got charged 50 cents to $1.25 for each item we ordered. I asked the girl and she said she said they needed to update the menu price but it's correct on the register.
The food came out quickly and we opted to take it to go.
When we got home, 15-20 minutes away our food was still hot and ready to eat. Food was good but a bit too wet for my liking. I appreciated the to go boxes they used when they packed our meals. Price was a bit more than what I wanted to pay especially for the serving size.
I'm glad I was able to try it but definitely wouldn't be my first choice. I actually probably wouldn't come back here.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - May 14, 2021
Walked in and the gal working the register was too busy on her phone to acknowledge us. While we looked over the menu in silence, she did eventually ask what she could get us.
The noodle dishes def. have potential. We ordered the drunken noodles and if you can work past the excessive salt content, it could actually be very good. Unfortunately, we couldn't. The dish was so salty, that it was painful. I could feel the literally burn in my mouth. Perhaps another day, the chef could be less heavy handed. The Korean wings were a miss. The batter had quite the bite to it, and not so much a crunch, but rather a staleness.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1892911688May 8, 2021
Salt and pepper shrimp were great. Family loved the light but tasty teriyaki chicken. And the Thai rolled ice cream was perfect for the kids!

Let me start by saying I love Asian food. Spiciest are all there. I came across RusHour on DoorDash and decided to give it a try. Maaan everything was good! The red curry is by far my favorite. The bamboo, carrots and BROCCOLI yes broccoli in the curry just makes the dish so much more delicious. I love how you can pick your protein which I chose chicken. The pad Thai was also delicious. A little too saucy for my liking but the favor is divine. Food came hot even the steak rice was steamy when I opened the lid.

Yum, yum, yum!!!!
I ordered a Groupon for $18 and it's the perfect amount for two people.
I ordered the fried pho and my daughter ordered the chicken chow mein and shared a basket of sticky rice.
The food came out HOT!!!!!!! Too hot to eat!!! But so damn delicious! It was a hot day, but the fried pho taste exactly like a bowl of pho. I ordered the fat noodles. In my head I was thinking they'd come out with udon type noodles, but they came out with pad Thai type noodles, and they were so tasty!!
The chicken chow mein has big chunks of meat and celery. The sticky rice is delicious and cooked perfectly!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 13, 2018
This was a bummer lol. This spot has a history of failing businesses. From what I can recall, it used to be Quickly a boba spot to Thai Delish to RusHour now.
Bf wanted to try something fast near home. We probably waited 15-20 mins for food.
The cashier was very informative, patient and friendly. She mentioned specials for the grand opening... like $2 off the $6 rolled ice cream when it's over 100 degrees. That's cool. (Literally.)
We ordered thai chicken wings, veggie tofu pad thai and a thai tea. Entrees are all $9 or so. His 6 pc chicken wings were $7.50. His chicken wings and my pad thai were bland. No flavor whatsoever.
His chicken wings were deep fried and garnished with green onions and sesame seeds. He asked for medium spicy heat. There was no heat. The garnish was an attempt to make the wings appetizing but failed in achieving that in taste. They were dry and bland, no seasoning or sauce on the side.
I had to try and fix my pad thai, because lord knows I do not waste food. (Amen.) I asked for soy sauce, sriracha or teriyaki sauce... anything. They only had sriracha sauce. I asked for salt packages. They were kind to give me 4 packets. I thought to myself, "I may not need all that." I cannot recall the last time I used almost all 4 packets of salt for flavor. I mean, I use 2 packets of salt for a baked potato from Wendy's. I realized after the 3rd packet of salt that there was no up from here.
I can cook pad thai among other asian dishes for myself. I don't want to so I go out to order it. If I can cook it better or have to take it home to fix it, I'm not a fan. Honestly, this was one of the worst veggie pad thai dishes I've ever had, and I'm still giving 2 stars because customer service was nice and the thai tea was good. But customer service isn't going to keep a business running if flavor is not there. I'm also not a fan of the styrofoam plates.
They seem to be trying to tackle an array of asian flavors at RusHour but it's a miss for me. Thai food is supposed to be a mixture of sweet, savory, sour, and spicy in one bite. This was a miss.
Opening a local shop can be difficult in Fresno. Wishing RusHour the best on improving their food quality.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Taylor D.Fresno, CA703611Apr 11, 2020
Currently eating by first order from RusHour and I can't believe it took me so long to order from this place. I ordered through DoorDash and got the Orange Chicken (Spicy) rice bowl upgraded to fried rice and and order of the vegetable spring rolls.
First and most importantly it is actually spicy while still very flavorful! I can't tell you how many places don't give me spicy even when something is advertised as spicy.
The fried rice is bomb it is packed with flavor and yummy veggies.
The spring rolls despite being in someone's car for 10-15 mins before I got to them they were crispy and firm.
Will 100% be ordering again.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Don S.Fresno, CA1571392Feb 23, 2021
The food was really good, but, the prep seemed to take forever-especially for take out.
If they delivered to Fresno, we'd probably order from them-that way, we can endure the wait time at home.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
