    About the Business

    We show movies, every night, all year. Adults $10, Kids 5-9 only $1; Cash or Credit/Debit cards only. In a culture where family time has become so rare, and the price of movie tickets are breaking the budget, the time is right once more for the drive-in to satisfy the national thirst for affordable, good quality family entertainment. The drive-in theater is no longer a forgotten relic, but an exciting living history and, thanks to the Rubidoux Drive-In and other theaters like it, the drive-in is once again poised to become the premiere American movie going experience.

      I use to come to this drive in in the summer all the time. My family and I came with Friends and their kids to see Cruella. The staff was very friendly and we had good customer service. We went on Sunday and each movie was about half capacity which was great for sitting outside the car while social distancing. The concession stand was open and prices were decent.

      It would be nice if the owners could update the property. Walking to the concession stand/bathrooms felt uneasy. The pavement had so many cracks and bumps, I was nervous I would trip and hurt myself.

      The restrooms appeared to haven't been clean and upgraded in a long time. Both air dryers didn't work and there was dust/caked up dirt everywhere. Please make this better. We want to continue to support this business

      Yay to the drive in

      I love this drive in theater. It is 10 dollars per person for one or two movies depending on the day, check their website. And if you come on a weekday it is empty so you can get an amazing spot and not be bothered by anyone else.

      When I went the first time it was on a Saturday and I watched Insidious: The Red Door. There were tons of people and a few people turn on their lights throughout the movie but no more than a couple of seconds. I was able to leave my car on and not drain my battery with just the radio for the whole movie. I also got snacks which were extremely cheap. I got nachos and the jalapenos are free plus you can get extra cheese or butter for free.

      They typically have six movies to choose from everyday, three screens, and two different showing times.

      The second time was on a Thursday and I watched The Marvels. It was amazing as there was nobody else and I really enjoyed my experience again.

      I have not gone back to normal movie theaters since finding this gem.

      First time experiencing a drive-in theater.

      I was invited to watch the "live action" movie The Little Mermaid. While the movie was just okay for me, the drive-in experience was okay. Here are my thoughts below.

      Pros:
      - Easy to find via Google Maps
      - Prices were only $10/person
      - Enjoy watching a movie in the comfort of your own vehicle or next to it with your outdoor chairs
      - Bring your own food or buy at the snack bar

      Cons:
      - When other people's speaker is louder than yours, it creates bad reverb
      - The screen colors are washed out (picture isn't as vivid)
      - The screen is washed out when someone's car lights hit the screen
      - Screaming kids in neighboring cars
      - Smoke from inconsiderate people lingering in the air

      Other things to note for a better experience:
      - Bring a pillow or blanket (it got a bit chilly);
      - Bring your own snacks and drinks (hello, boba!);
      - Make sure you have a working radio for your vehicle;
      - Bring a group of friends and create a semicircle to watch from your outdoor chairs.

      Personally, I prefer the luxury theaters but this experience was nice.

      AN ABSOLUTELY MUST DO ! 4 & 1/2 STARS! It's Time to jump into The TimeMobile & scour the Earth & take you to places from a different time that you won't believe still exist. We have set the dial to 1948 in the town of Riverside CA. We've landed at The Ribidoux Drive-In which was built in 1948. The original screen is still standing. In 1983 they added 2 additional screens so it's now a Triplex Drive-In. They have a snack bar with black & white tile, food & drinks, tables & chairs inside & out. They have gum ball machines & a couple of arcade games too.
      Drive-Ins are Truely Living Dinosaurs that have somehow miraculously escaped Extinction. Please support your local Drive-Ins from coast to coast & whatever state you're visiting. SOCAL just lost another Drive-in earlier this year - the Tiki in Montclair. So there aren't too many left in SOCAL. Just to remind people Drive-Ins were the only form of Entertainment we had during the Pandemic & Social Distancing. We don't know when the next Pandemic, Man Made or Natural Disaster will hit hopefully Never. But if you support them they'll be there for us when we need them. Drive-Ins are So Much Fun & a Blast from The Past. There's lots of Big Box Office Blockbusters coming out this year. And the price here - Talk about Bargains - $10 for Adults & Children 5-9 $1.00. You can bring in your own food in your vehicle or visit the Snack Bar Concession Stand or do a combo of both. It's Great here anytime but especially in the warmer months when you can put your chair outside your car & watch the movie outdoors. There's Nothing quite like that They're open 7 days a week.
      A lot of the Drive-Ins no longer have the speakers that you put in your window. Instead of draining your car's battery consider bringing a separate radio to hear the movie. They tell you at the entrance what station the movie soundtrack will be playing on.
      Amazon is now selling the Cool Retro Style Old Fashioned Drive-In AM-FM radios for under $20 that use both battery & plug in also. You can put this Radio in your vehicle & really have a real Retro Experience @ The Drive-In. Plus it's always good to have a portable radio in case of an emergency - like when the power goes off & the internet goes down. Come early to the Drive-In & pick out your ideal spot. Weekdays are usually less busy than on the weekends. It's So Much Fun @ The Drive-In.
      It used to be, you had to have Mega Bucks & be really Rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can
      Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

      I love swap meets. But this o e was probably the worst one. But not in a bad way. Not much of what I expected. A bit of everything from used goods, toys, appliances, tools, essentials etc. but variety and quality wasn't there. A bit pricey as well.

      Or idk. It might just be me. I came on a Saturday looking for collectible toys, trucks and maybe some used rare stuff. I was in and out in less than 30 min. Really sketchy area too. Idk. It might just be me. Definitely not coming back. Parking is decent and entrance is free. So that's a plus

      First we get there and we ask for haunted mansion and we paid then they give us the ticket for haunted mansion. Then we asked what screen she said screen one then we parked turn on the radio station. We turned on the radio station and it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so we had to move to scream to then we wait a little while for the movie to start. Turns out it was talk to me the scary movie so we ended up having to watch the Barbie movie. Worst experience ever since it is right by the freeway you cannot even hear your radio outside when you sit outside the Van Buren drive-in theater is much better and the bathroom here smell horrific

      This place was perfect for a date. It was fun sitting in the car watching the movie. It took me back to my childhood. I will definitely go again.
