I ate here for breakfast with my family on a trip to Cambridge last week.
Andy's is reasonably priced, old school place with a simple menu serving diner comfort food. The staff was friendly and most of the patrons appeared to be regulars from the neighbourhood.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 2, 2023
Saw this place when I was biking! The restaurant had a long line, and I probably wasn't seated until 20 minutes in. My waitress forgot a lot, but I didn't mind.
I sat at the bar and ordered the Lumber Jack that came with three eggs, meats, and potato fries. Food was okay... I rather eat at iHop. Ambience was good though, not loud.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sunny P.OH, OH8153532Apr 7, 2023
Andy's Diner has the home town go to vibe that we love to find on a breakfast restaurant!
Our AirBnB host recommended this as one of their favorite go to so we decided to try it out. It was also a short walk from the Porter Station.
Our waitress was so friendly and was at our table within a minute of us sitting down. She took our order and within 15 minutes we had all of our food.
The portion sizes were insane and we were not even able to finish all of the food we ordered. The prices were all very reasonable for how much food you got.
I highly recommend stopping Andy's Diner if you are looking for a big breakfast to hold you over for a big day of walking around Boston. Just know you won't be hungry until dinner!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Barbara B.San Francisco, CA01Mar 25, 2024
Food was OK. Waitress Debbie was awesome..rest of the staff was on cell phone whole she ran ragged. Then I used the bathroom. I nearly vomited. It was so disgusting! I will never go back! I've seen cleaner in gas stations! Grrrosss!

Andy's Diner is such a cozy hole-in-the-wall. It felt nice to walk into a space with personality & people just chit-chatting with each other. Service was wonderful!
I really enjoyed my French toast. It felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. I also feel ingredients are fresh.
I'd return for a round 2 :)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeff H.Easton, MA5032Sep 23, 2023
Old fashioned, no frills breakfast. Pancakes are great. It a dinosaur in Cambridge. Even thought it seemed like a good crowd, my food came out out fast. I stop here whenever I'm in the area.

I'm a tourist. It's a diner - no frills, lots of regulars. Convenient location, fast big breakfast so that you can be on your way. Nice and excellent service.

I lost custody of my kids in 2009 and ever since have only been allowed to take them out to dinner on Monday's. I would bring them here for their favorite, roasted Turkey. But now I can't do that because Andy pissed off the line cooks enough that the Monday night crew unionized and went to work at Boston Market.

Was excited to try the food since my Uncle has been going here for over 10 years. The steak tasted plastic with absolutely no seasoning. I wanted to switch out to bacon and the manager informed the waiter they can't do it and that they don't season their steak and oh well, I will still be charged. Horrible experience and I won't ever be back.

Grumpy server. Sticky table. Bland greasy food. Barely edible. The worst diner I've ever been to.
