Remember Well - Honor a Lifetime Roper and Sons Funeral Home opened its doors in Lincoln, Nebraska in December 1901, when Charles H. Roper began offering funeral services with Charles Beecher. The two eager partners opened their first facility at 124 South 13th Street at the point from which streetcars chartered for funerals began their journey down Lincolns O Street no more than muddy paths to Wyuka Cemetery.Today, Roper and Sons continues to uphold Charles H. Roper's commitment to serving Lincoln residents and the surrounding communities as well as keeping the business in the hands of family.

My Mother-in-Law & Father-in-Law were taken care of here. The staff was extremely caring, respectable, and comforting during difficult times. The facilities were more than adequate for services and receptions. Every provision was made for ease to the family. I was thankful for their highest respect and service.

Roper and Son's did a wonderful service for my husband's grandfather. There was a beautiful visitation with the funeral the next day follows by a reception in their reception space.
The staff was so kind and caring, they made sure the family was all taken care of. They created a beautiful slide show that played at the visitation as well as at the service. The staff opened up the chapel when we had more people than expected come to the visitation.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
