Roberto's is top notch. Knowledgeable and friendly staff that really wants you to enjoy your experience. The food is great, I've never had a single thing that wasn't excellent. Great steaks, homemade limoncello, and never miss the vanilla gelato with a shot of espresso over the top. We love coming here. One of our absolute favorites.

Why have I waited so long to try Roberto's? I usually stay on my bubble....but heard great things, so ventured out and tried it with the family.....it has ruined every other Italian restaurant for us! And in the Lou, that's a big statement! Food was spectacular! Service was so attentive and the atmosphere felt fun and welcoming while being a very classy place. Highly recommend!

Roberto's Trattoria & Chop House was an amazing, unsuspectingly enjoyable experience. I was given a gift card to a restaurant that I had never heard of but I'm always up for an adventure. It was situated in a strip mall and initially I did not have great thoughts because it looked very small from the outside and you couldn't see in. To my surprise when you walk in it opens up to a beautiful space that consisted of several sections that allow you to dine in different atmospheres such as the bar, high top tables, and another section that offers a fireplace. I had a seafood pasta that was delicious and my husband had the steak of course both were delicious but the showstopper was the spinach. The spinach was flash fried (I didn't even know that could be done) it was light and crispy but not oily or heavy. It was a Friday night and our server was super busy but he somehow was able to maintain. We ordered a few drinks but there is not a cocktail menu. They do have a full bar, but be specific so they can accommodate you. We also met the husband and wife duo that are part of the ownership team they were absolutely delightful and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Roberto's has definitely made it to the top of our list!

we have dined at Roberto's since it was Zanti's on Gravois, was our favorite., since new owners , not so much. there were 4 of us, we only had 1 drink for 1 of us, no other drinks. Food was decent, prices were ridiculous, $60.00 for halibut. they are not at the Ritz Carlton, but prices seem like it. Dinner for four , was $360.00 before tip, sauces were not up to when Robert was still there. Service was decent, but we probably won't return because of the high prices. Restaurants are out pricing themselves.

5/5 always Bob the bartender is awesome with the drinks... gotta try a KBG for dessert drink...
Short rib ravs and stuffed shrimp were on point!

Had to put an update. The lamb chops on special were the best lamb chops I ever had in St Louis or anywhere else. I try them everywhere they're offered. These were outstanding !

Thi place has Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything.. Super expensive -- but if you're looking for a "fancy night" is the perfect place. If you are going to propose, it is the perfect place. If you are going to tell your husband that you are pregnant, It is the perfect place. It is an amazing place to eat for a celebration! Love this joint.
I wish I could eat there every night.
