Kick-ass wines in an awesome downtown tasting room. The location is convenient, hip, fun, close to restaurants and hotels. The wines are beautiful and balanced. The highlight for me however is always the service; Sean was knowledgable, warm, open, funny and attentive and he made our visit memorable and fun.

Amazing experience! If I could give more stars I would.
We stumbled upon this place while wandering around Healdsburg after lunch and were treated to a spectacular tasting afternoon. We were the only people there so we sat inside (lovely and cool, although they have a nice outdoor tasting area too) and one of the owners was pouring and knows SO much about the area in addition the grapes and of course their wine.
Very fun music too!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 17, 2024
We visited this tasting room on our wine and food walking tour of Healdsburg. The tasting room here is small and intimate with an amazing collection of records. They specialize in Pinot here. We normally aren't big fans of Pinot as it tends to be somewhat light and we like big, juicy reds. But the Pinot's at Roadhouse are jam-packed with flavor. The owner was friendly and knowledgable. We liked all of the wines we had here and ended up taking a bottle of their "Purple" home.
About the only somewhat negative thing I can say about Roadhouse is that I feel their prices are a little high. I believe the bottle that we bought was about $70. But I certainly can't complain about the quality of their wine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 11, 2022
Pinots on the Plaza!
I'd previously been to Roadhouse for a tasting before the pandemic and before they expanded their space, and I really enjoyed their Pinots.
There's just so much good wine in this town and not enough time!
On our recent walk home from dinner on a Saturday we were thrilled to see them still open and offering wines by the glass so we popped in. There was 1 red and 1 white available for $15/glass. We opted for the luscious red, a Leras Vineyard Pinot Noir (I think this is the Pink Label bottle) and it was absolutely delicious! Fun fact: the Papapietro Perry team also makes a Leras Vineyard Pinot.
Roadhouse's expanded tasting room space is light and bright with comfortable seating options, cool music-inspired art, vinyl records for playing, and vinyl records for sale! If you like Pinots and want to taste some special ones in town, do pay them a visit.Helpful 15Thanks 0Love this 17Oh no 0 - Nov 22, 2020
Pinot Noir specialty house. Had menu tasting. Nice server also poured other wines for us, generous gift.
I like the more fruit forward bottles. The rose' was explained as a French style. In my opinion it's not. French style is more austere with slate minerality. This rose' is more fruit and cherry tasting.
Bought 4 bottles. Expensive. $186. Tasting was not comped with purchase.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - dennis h.Alameda, CA1638Dec 24, 2022
My favorite place to hang out and drink some amazing Pinot and listen to classic vinyl. Great vibe and Van is a great host. Manages to upsell us every time.

This was recommended as an interesting place to taste nice wines because the have a record player and you are able to choose albums to play. It was such a nice day that we chose to sit on the patio rather than inside with the record player. It is a pleasant setting with good wine but we did not feel like we got the same guided journey through the wine tasting that we received at the other two wine tasting rooms we visited. It was a good experience, but not especially memorable.

Stopped by and got a quick glass of wine while waiting for nearby restaurant reservation. Had their red wine and rose. Cute place and convenient location with limited outdoor seating. Service was friendly and wine was fine. If we had more time perhaps we could've enjoyed it more.

Best pinot in the appellation . If you're in the area it's a must try. Full throated body and incredible boots.

We visited this place in May 2021 and they had outdoor seating and a wine tasting option for non- members. The tasting costs $30 and does not include any cheese pairings. For vegetarians, the cheese and meat pairing is expensive, as they can't do the meat. It wasn't an interactive experience for learning more about each type of wine, but would have loved that.

I have to confess I've never actually been to the winery; but I received some of their wine as a gift, and was truly pleased! The wine is excellent; well balanced and fruity with out being overpoweringly sweet or bitter.
Definitely worth the money, and when I am back up in the area, I will definitely be stopping by to have a full tasting!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
