This is my go-to Rite Aid in Hesperia for my medications or ointments pickup at their pharmacy. Unfortunately, lines are usually long. They normally have only one person working the inside window and sometimes that same person is also working the drive-thru window. No wonder the lines are long. Go figure! Please hire more staff to attend to your customers... at least one for drive-thru and one for inside window. If drive-thru staff is free, then they can help the customers at the inside window. Limited staff can only hurt the customers IMHO.
Besides using their pharmacy, I've shopped here in the past especially when they have sales. Also I love their Thrifty ice cream... yummy yummy! My favorites are Pineapple Coconut, Black Cherry, Butter Pecan, and Pistachios... alright, I love ice cream so I have more than one favorite... I just can't decide which ice cream reigns supreme LOL... they are all fantastic in my book!
One good thing about Rite Aid is that they are strategically located in the cities. If you need something quick, Rite Aid is probably around the corner for your convenience and shopping needs. Riteaid continues to be hard to get prescriptions filled in a timely manner. New policy concerning interactions and contacting the prescribing doctor causes days of delays of much needed meds. I'm seriously considering taking my family's prescriptions to another pharmacy. There is no empathy of customer's needs.

Jan 5, 2023Previous reviewMy cardiologist sent 3 new prescriptions 3 times electronically and the pharmacist argued with me that she had not received them. The doctor's office had to call the pharmacist to get the matter straightened out so I could receive my heart meds. Evidently Riteaid's system was down but nobody in the pharmacy looked into it.

Tonight after dinner we stopped in for some Thrifty ice cream. I was bummed they didn't have my favorite flavor, but I did get my mint n chip. Service was ok, but when I asked for a cone he scooped it so lopsided it almost fell and I had to ask for a cup to put it in. Store was clean, but parking lot could use some attention as trash was blowing everywhere.

They replaced the pills at no cost but the pharmacist dint apologize -

Horrible experience. Will never revisit this establishment. I forget the two girls names but I was returning something my wife bought & they were accusing me of? Doing something shady? I didn't get it but they were treating me like a criminal. When I called them on our they basically called me a criminal to my face.

Love shopping at rite aid. Got my COVID-19 vaccine and they schedule my second dose with no problems. The cashiers are really nice, always very friendly.

Brought my daughter for a COVID vaccine. There was no one in line, we had an appointment, and we still waited over 30 minutes! Horrible! I only came here because I love shopping at this Rite Aid, had no idea the pharmacy was so slow and horrible! Never again!!

Easily the worst pharmacy I've been to. It consistently takes several hours to fill a prescription regardless of how long they tell you it'll take. When I dropped this last prescription off i was told it would be about an hour. Two hours later I called to check (because they're never on time), and the guy told me my doctor hadn't sent anything over yet so they didn't have anything for me. When I told him I brought the prescription in personally he said "oh, it will be another hour." Wait.. So you do have my prescription? Ridiculous. They are completely clueless and that's kinda scary when dealing with people's medication.

This review is based off of the pharmacy. Just got out of oral surgery and headed to this rite aid to get my painkillers and penicillin. Was greeted by the rudest pharmacy tech, who didn't even try to offer another pain relief, when big surprise, they didn't have what i was prescribed in stock. She then proceeded to laugh as i was leaving frustrated. What a way to treat people that are trying to get medication. Never will I get a prescription filled here.

Had the best experience at this store yesterday. Brought my granddaughter there after school to get an ice cream cone. Even though there was a long line at the counter, the young man dipping the cones was courteous, friendly and efficient. The clerk, Clark Kent, engaged each customer with a smile and brief "pleasantries ". When it was our turn, he not only treated my little granddaughter as a valued customer, he also helped me sign up for the RiteAid rewards program. Let me tell you, Corporate....he's a KEEPER
