My family has used Dr Saker for many years from wisdom teeth surgery to implant dentistry. Dr Saker is amazing both technically proficient but has an ease that makes the patient feel comfortable.
I would highly recommend the practice to anyone .
I wouldn't be writing this review if I didn't feel he was outstanding. In fact I am sitting in his waiting room as my mother is getting an extraction

Not a good experience - not because of the doctors or the procedure itself but because of (certain) terrible and rude office staff. Here is a summary of my experience.

      - My son was scheduled to have 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Paik a year ago. He ended up getting COVID and we waited until this summer to reschedule the procedure. His procedure was scheduled for 6/21.

      - On 6/16, I received an email confirming an appt with Dr. Kirpalani for the procedure. No one called to tell me that it would be a different doctor performing the surgery nor did anyone ask me to bring my son in for a re-consultation since so much time had passed. As far as I understood, he was supposed to show up on that day and his teeth would be removed.

      - I called the office manager and told them that i thought it was unprofessional that they rescheduled with a different doctor without first consulting with me. I asked if i could come in to meet the new doctor and was told no problem. She was very nice.

      - Met Dr. Kirpalani and he was great. No issues. When checking out and receiving pre surgery instructions, I specifically asked if there would be a charge for coming in to meet the dr. and was told no.

      - Brought my son in the following day for surgery. All went well.

      - Today, I receive an itemized bill and the "consultation" was on included for $255.

      - Called the office and spoke to Alexandra who was incredibly rude and condescending. She told me that because it was a year they had to charge for the re-consultation (not what was previously told). She asked me to describe the person that told me that i didn't have to pay for the consult (it was the person that checked me out when i went in to meet the dr.) and then accused me of lying noting "oh i thought you talked to the office manager." (I did talk to the office manager but that was a separate conversation). She then claimed that "i only owe $16", which yes is true but (a) it's not her business to determine that it's ONLY $16 and (b) the $255 amount was submitted to insurance and my deductible/payment is based on a percentage of the full amount of the surgery. When i argued with her (and yes i was getting heated) she kept talking over me and throwing in her digs. I finally hung up because I was getting so frustrated.

Anyway, great doctors but the office staff needs to be trained a bit in customer service. Note - office manager was very nice and I will discuss with her in further detail when she returns from vacation.

Being an Old Fart, I have been to more medical facilities in the past year than I wish. That being said, if they had all been as good as Ridgewood Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, it would have renewed my faith in American medicine.
My procedure--extraction and implants--was done flawlessly by Dr. Saker. If there was a flaw, I was completely unaware, since I was knocked out. What impressed me while I was conscious was the professionalism, the efficiency, and the care of the supporting staff. Kudos to them all, and additional kudos to whoever trains and manages them. It was a pleasure to experience an operation that is run so well. If it wouldn't be a loss to the medical field, I would suggest that they take a shot at running our government.

If I would've known having my wisdom teeth extracted was going to be this comfortable I would've came to Dr. Saker sooner, I can't thank them enough !
My experience with Dr. Saker & his great staff was very professional. They answered each and every question I had, they explained exactly what I should expect before and after my procedure. I wish I would've known that getting my wisdom teeth extracted when you're younger is much easier then I wouldve ( Fun Fact.)
The office is very clean even as they are being remodel they still managed to keep everything organized and impeccable. I cant wait to see what the office will look like after they are done! They have a pretty spacious parking lot so parking isn't a hassle. Two days before my procedure they called my pharmacy & send them my prescriptions so they were ready for me to just go in a pick them up which was very convenient. When making my appointments the receptionist's were very helpful and friendly helping me find a good day & time that wouldn't interfere with my schedule. I truly recommend Dr. Saker to anyone looking for a good Oral Surgeon.

Hands down one of the most seamless medical procedures I have had done in a very long time. Dr. Kirpalani and his team took me in for an emergency tooth extraction due to an infected root canal and had me out of the procedure and feeling tremendously better within 20 minutes of arriving. Barely any residual pain the following day and minimal swelling. Will definitely be back for any future needs.

I was referred to this place by my supervisor at work, to deal with one of my impact wisdom teeth.

My wife had hers extracted last year at a different place, was charged $500 for each, and then had to stay on bed for 2 weeks beaten by the pain despite all the pain reliever pills, and not being able to eat at all. I thought I'm done for 2+ weeks so I asked for a long leave and prepared for the worst.

Surprisingly, it was much cheaper than I expected, and the surgery was just amazing. Dr. Wang did everything quickly and nicely, and explained all the recovery details to me after finished. That night I prepared all kinds of pain relievers and was waiting for anesthesia to fade out. I waited and waited until midnight, and no pain! Seriously, NO PAIN. My mind was blew up. I went back to work in just 3 days. So impressed.

After a few months I had to visit this place again to deal with the remaining 2 wisdom teeth. Same procedure, same doctor, just that I asked them to void my prescription because I didn't even use it last time. That night I felt very slight swelling due to the trauma so I took a pill of ibuprofen but that's it. The next day I felt nothing and I can eat just fine. I went back to work in 3 days again.

Dr Wang behaves very professional and works quickly and nicely. After the surgery I was asked to make appointments for the following check ups, but to be honest they were just perfect surgeries and really nothing needed to be checked. My wife was so jealous as she would have been more comfortable if she had hers extracted here.

I had one full grown, impacted wisdom tooth that was very close to the nerve (risk numbness) and was really worried about choosing the right oral surgeon. After several attempts to find the right practice, I gave up on insurance surgeons, personal references, and recommendations (turned out so bad) and decided to go with the highest rated practice and found this place on yelp. And i was so pleasantly surprised that the practice went above and beyond expectations. Everyone in this practice is extremely sweet and helpful, comfort from checkin to checkout. Also,I believe they dont have a consultation fee (besides xrays) which is amazing because all other places will charge you for both. I had Dr Wang and he was very professional, polite, and thoroughly explained everything (as a vulnerable patient, this is 100% important) -- and also the only surgeon I've met so far to give me more than 1 surgery option. It was a quick surgery, painless, and I left very happy with my decision. It hurt only a bit for a couple hours post surgery, and didn't swell as much (i had the other 3 teeth done by my dentist and the swelling was way longer and definitely was in pain for 2+ days). Also, the nerve wasnt damaged and i still feel no numbness at all.

I think this practice is a rare gem and will definitely recommend to everyone!
