Lovely Senior Facility for adult living. Rental includes a monthly food allowance to be used in their dining room.
Weekly and daily activities and events. Day trips to events outside the facility
Need and clean. Good food in dining the dining room
All inclusive in rent

Apartments are from studios to two bedrooms/two baths. My friend is in a two bedroom .. nice layout. All units have a balcony. And, all units have full kitchens. There is a gym (pay extra). Numbered outdoor parking for residents ... limited guest parking. Housekeeping included.
Our friend is in her 90s and quite self sufficient, but, driving is out for her. So once a month we go to her to play mah jongg.
With your rental you get a certain amount of points ($dollar value) to use in their restaurant. At 90 something, my friend is very particular about what she eats ... basically she just wants simple plain food, so she doesn't use up her points. As a result she invites us to lunch. Personally, while the food is not fancy gourmet, I have always found the food pretty good. But then, again, I've only had lunch there. You can not use cash in the restaurant.
Seems like everyone is very happy with the life style. Anything goes wrong in your unit,, just call and someone will come and fix it. She's been there about 5 years and her place is still in good shape.

Of course there were a few "wrinkles" because it was brand new and my apartment had never been occupied before. I appreciate that I am able to participate, or not, as much as I wish. THere are many activities that are just "not my thing". The few that I do attend are always worth while. During this pandemic I believe this is the safest place to be. I feel protected from others and that they are protected as well.
The staff has innumerable talents: scheduling/planning events, taking care of emergencies in a timely manner, offering meetings where open discussion is encouraged, keeping us updated on any, and all, important changes or new happenings. Residents feel free to make suggestions and those ideas are encouraged. Staff members also take an interest in our personal lives... they have all become friends to me and others.
