I enjoy this place except for one thing and that's the volume of the speakers aimed at the guest tables on either side of the stage area. Makes it impossible to converse before the show and during intermission. If the speakers could be angled out just a bit i believe they would still provide good sound during the shows.

The comedians are top notch and the atmosphere is very comedy conducive.

Finally got to see Kabir Singh at the We The Theatre in the Northwest. Already left a review of the venue, super intimate, fresh. This group always has a decent lineup of comedy, featuring local as well as national acts in different locations around town and the lake. A great way to support local talent and the arts. Get on their mailing list to see who's coming to town.

So much fun and a hilarious show. I attended for Valentines Day and what a hoot. Every seat is a winner, arrive early to get your choice un-reserved seat.

Full bar and a few snacks make this a great date night/ friend night. Their shows change often and signup to receive free tickets in your birthday.

This is a great place! Think of The Pioneer Underground as like your grandma's basement, only COOLER! Not just in the dimply lit, cool, slight dankness of a basement, but cool as in where you come to hang out with friends, laugh your @$$ off, and have inexpensive, stiff drinks poured by some of the hardest working staff you've ever met! These folks want you to have a blast and they pour like their hand went numb!

The tickets are really affordable, the calendar offers lots of variety for everyone's kind of humor, and the staff and talent (often one and the same!) make you feel like a welcome guest, like your Grandma would!
Show tickets are so affordable, you can make R-TC a regular part of your entertainment nightlife, and support local comics and our underground arts scene, too! Besides, who doesn't want to laugh more, really? Bet your Grandma would want you to!!!

We went to see Justin at the comedy club he is a magician and comedian. I have to say we had Such an amazing time. When you walk up to the cold dome shape of the building you turn to the left and there's a set of stairs leading down to the comedy club, I have to say when I was going down the stairs I was a little scared for my life. However, I will say it's definitely worth the risk. Once you go into the comedy club directly in front of you you'll see a bar that also has snacks and the lady who is serving the drinks was absolutely amazing!

Now I feel I have to preface this by saying we went to a kids show. The bartender was making Shirley temples for the kids and she was an absolute delight to them. She made it very fun and interactive and beyond that she's really nice to all the adults as well.

When you walk into the actual club the atmosphere is very old Hollywood. Sure, it could use a little bit of updating, however I think it was A great way to spend the afternoon. If I could add anything I would have them do a new comedy night with lots of new comedians the same way they do in larger towns like Denver, Colorado.

This place is awesome. We were greatly nicely by the manager and felt welcomed. The drinks are reasonably priced and they have a nice selection to pick from. Bathrooms are clean.
The comedy was excellent and appropriate for the audience. The price to get in is a bargain and would come here rather than go to a movie as this was much more entertaining. Wished this place was in the East Bay as we would be regulars.

What a great way to spend an evening! I have been here a few times now. I've had dates here, gone in small groups and even brought my whole office on occasion! Even when a comic isn't the greatest, the fat that they have several acts means someone almost always resonates with you.

The setting is intimate and allows you to really become part of the show. The comics usually interact well with the crowd too making it even more fun.

The drinks are fairly priced too, though I don't usually like to leave a tab open after one night I'm pretty sure I paid for other people's drinks too.

Nick Larson was the last show we saw and he was hilarious. I'd recommend him to others. If you haven't gone, make it a point to head here for a fun evening. Also, if you sign up for birthday notices you get 2 free tickets to a show.
