My husband and I moved to Ann Arbor in December and decided to rent a condo from an actual person instead of going the Apartment Complex route. Big mistake.
The condo we rented was managed through Reinhart Rentals and we had nothing but problems the short 6 months that we made it there. Our property manager was rude, unresponsive, and did not care about us one bit. For the exorbitant amount of money we were spending each month for rent, I expected a lot more. The condo was dirty when we moved in, stains on the carpet that I clearly marked on the inventory checklist, walls were dinged & had marks on them, blinds were broken, faucet leaked, I can go on and on.
Upon breaking our lease and moving out because we relocated, we were charged for the marks on the walls and dirty carpet that was there when we moved in. Do yourself a favor and don't rent anything that's managed by Reinhart Rentals. They do not care about you at all and are just money-hungry.
Also, stay away from the Barclay Park Condos, overall. My brand new car was hit by a fellow resident 3 months after we moved in. The walls are paper thin--I could hear all of our neighbors' conversations, and when they stayed out to late partying and were sick with hangovers the next day. EWH.
So glad to be rid of that place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - LL I.San Francisco, CA03Oct 28, 2018
Owner find another agent to help. I gave my condo to rent by Reinhart for few years. Typically, my condo rented out within 1 month. Reinhart took 2 months still not rent out. At the end, I found my own tenant using craigslist.
When tenant lease renewal, I told them increase the rent or move out. Reinhart can reply me the tenant want to stay with no rent increase. (Please note I didn't increase rent for years) How can you be a rental management that don't understand market price.
After tenant moves out, they don't check the condo quickly. No move out list about what's wrong. They don't clean for you. Until I have other people told me the Condo is extremely dirty.
To be fair, in normal maintenance, they are doing OK job. However, they are inconsistent on their service. For myself, will not do business with them again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Irma C.Las Vegas, NV01Jan 8, 2020
I recently sold my condo in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Prior to the sell of my condo I was renting it out after moving to Las Vegas. Amy Conley managed my rental property for a few years before I decided to sell it. I must say that Amy did an amazing job in managing my property and making sure my condo was always well taken care of by the tenants. I always had peace of mind because Amy always kept me updated of any issues and/or repairs which needed attention. Of course when I decided to sell I wanted a Reinhart Real Estate Agent to take over. This is when Real Estate Agent, Brent Flewelling was recommended by Amy and I was not disappointed. Between Amy, Brent and Reinhart staff they worked together to get my condo prepped and ready to sell. I was pleasantly surprised that my condo sold quickly. I know it was because of the great job from the staff at Reinhart Realty. I couldn't have done this without their support. Not once during the sell of the condo did I have to take a flight to Michigan. All communication was done via email, texts and phone contacts which took a lot of pressure from having to take time off work. At this time I wish to thank everyone at Reinhart for a great job.
