I was in the Hershey area for dinner and figured, since it was the off season, finding a place to eat would be easy. I was so wrong. Everything was packed at 5:00pm. I actually drove by Red Robin a few times but finally gave up and went in. I'm glad I did.
I grabbed a seat at the bar and was immediately greeted by the bartender. Now if you've ever been to a Red Robin, you'll know the bartenders probably spend 90% of their time making milkshakes and the countless bottomless non-alcoholic drinks they offer; and only 10% actually taking care of bar guests. But this bartender was able to juggle both and also take a number of tables in the dining room. She did great!
I wanted to pass on Red Robin, not because I think their food is bad (I actually think they have some solid burgers), but because I wanted something healthy. Fortunately they had me covered. I was torn between a dinner salad and salmon. I opted for the Sear-ious Salmon: blackened salmon with tomato-bruschetta salsa and choice of bottomless side (I chose steamed broccoli).
The food came out and looked good, the salmon was far overcooked for my liking but I know Red Robin doesn't even cook burgers under medium so I knew what was coming. It was still good and had a decent amount of blackened seasoning on it. The bruschetta salsa was good but I didn't find a need for it. And the broccoli, it was good but then the bartender offered some Red Robin seasoning for it which took it over the top.

After having so many issues at our local, Red Robin's we decided to give up and just head to Hershey, where we've always had excellent service paired with excellent quality food. Our decision did not disappoint, and from the very beginning through the meal to finishing out the meal. It was so much better than the operations that we had been to in Maryland.
Our drinks were quick to the table and continually refilled through the entire meal without having to ask, and the appetizers hit the table within seven minutes of ordering them, but it did take a little longer to get the entrées, however, as busy as this place was it wasn't a huge issue because everything arrived within 20 to 25 minutes.
The server was spot on and quick to take care of everything and clean the table, taking away, dirty dishes, and platters. The food arrived hot along with the french fries, and the bottomless refills of the fries arrived within two minutes and piping hot. This place gets it. They have nailed service with customer expectations and timing without issue. The portions were nice. The burgers were correct. The appetizers were hot. And the entire meal was very nice and greatly appreciated.
There's still a glitch with the table payment system. However, the server figured it out and got it squared away without any issues. Suffice to say this is our "Go-To" Red Robin. If you want to have a good Red Robin experience with stellar customer service, perfectly presented food and a clean and well run operation come to the Hershey PA location!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

i asked for mac and cheese and they brought me chac and meese little did they know my grandmother that fought in word war 5 died from a chac and meese ball through RIGHT AT HER FACE. omg i felt too bad to say anything so i cried and ate in peace. Thanks for the chac and meese!

We've been here a few times when we visit Hershey. The staff is always friendly and efficient. It's usually busy but we've never had to wait more than a 5-10 minutes for a table.
Food is standard chain restaurant fair. Although we tried the Campfire Mayo as our dipping sauce tonight. Wow it was yummy! The kids menu is nice and our daughter always loves the tablet at the table to play trivia games.
The walls have some really fun funky artwork made from unusually items/mediums. Our daughter loves the 'burger seats' in the front lobby. Overall a decent place to stop for a quick meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Good for a chain. Gets pretty busy here, but still decent service. Food is basic but still good, there's nothing special about this place. We enjoy coming here and always eat all of the food.

We love Red Robin!
Since they removed all of the Long Island locations, it's very rare that we are able to dine at Red Robin now. When we were in Hershey this past weekend, we knew this was where we were eating lunch!
We arrived to the restaurant at 12pm and was extremely shocked with how packed it was already. People were waiting EVERYWHERE: outside, in the lobby, in the entrance. It was a mad house. I even checked to see if they served breakfast and was open hours before this to justify why there were so many people already. They do not serve breakfast and in fact opened at 11am.
While our wait would only be 25-30 minutes, I asked if we could eat at the bar instead which was no issue. They sat us immediately.
I ordered the clucks and fries with extra fries while my husband ordered a burger. They ran out of pretzel buns so they had to replace. I'm pretty sure they changed the chicken fingers as they were different at another Red Robin location in NJ since the last time we ate at one on Long Island before the pandemic. We stopped in before a Hershey Bears game. (Little tip, join the waitlist here on Yelp). We came over two hours before the game and still had around a 20 minute wait. It was also the day before thanksgiving so that also played into it. Our server was pleasant and patient while we decided what we wanted even as busy as they were. My wife ordered the Brussels sprouts and said they were very good. For mains she ordered the fish and chips with a side salad. I ordered the new rib dinner they just released with sides of Cole slaw (which was pretty good) and the bottomless fries. She said the fish was cooked and seasoned well. As for the ribs, they were overcooked and tough. A side of sauce would have been nice but our server by this stage was running around like crazy. She did check back to see if our meals were ok and it was before I thought of a side of sauce. The 3 stars is t for the service or the speed of the kitchen it was solely based on the ribs. Everything else was very good. We will return but I'll stick with the burgers next time.

My mom and I stopped in here after a long day of traveling. We were headed to another spot, but couldn't find a way to get there because we were exhausted, and noticed the Red Robin on the side of the road. At 8pm, there were many people waiting and although it was only a 20 minute wait for a table, we opted to take our meal at the bar. I couldn't believe the amount of kids who were still up and eating dinner, but they were there.
I had a tavern house burger, and so did my mom. The burgers are always reliable and the fries are good. They also offer gluten free rolls, which I like. The service at the bar was great. My mom had a couple old fashioneds and commented that they were made well and really good, which surprised her as she didn't think they would be as good as they were at Red Robin.
