Red Dirt Car Wash

They offered the use of a debit card in the wash bay which made it very simple to use instead of feeding it quarters.
Overall it worked well. The hose could be a bit longer for use on full size trucks and the wand did not swivel well.

Complete ripoff- we stopped at this car wash that advertised a $ 3.00 spray wash. After completion our credit card was charged $ 11.50! Beware of this ripoff.

paid for the $4 wash just using the sprayer myself. used my debit card. was charged $16!!!! tried to call the number. rings and hangs up on you after 4 rings. will not use ever again and will spread this review. A TOTAL RIP-OFF!!!!!

Happened to see this on my way to Bryce Canyon Np. It's a great touchless car wash perfect for the Tesla. Just what I needed!
I got the most expensive wash because why not. If I ever come this way I'd wash my car here again.

This car wash was marginal at best. For one thing, my tires were only half cleaned - see pic. Also, I selected the $7 wash but see now that they charged my card $10! I will definitely not be returning.

Wish I could've used this car wash as it was extremely needed. I'm touring the canyons from out of state and came into Hurricane to stay for the night. I've got a couple thousand bug splatters on the front of my suv but I couldn't use the car wash because both change machines weren't functioning. I rolled in at 22:00 and had a couple hours of time to spare to wash my car. Dammit.

This is a terrible car wash and it has been for a long time. The change of ownership didn't fix anything.

It has 1 outdoor self-serve bay, 2 indoor self-serve bays and an automatic bay. I have never used the automatic wash so this review does not address that. It also has a few vaccums that cost a ridiculous $2 each! I used to use them when they cost $1 but now I refuse.

About a year ago, they took out the terrible old credit card readers and replaced them with terrible new card readers that seem to only function occasionally after many tries. Today I watched the guy in front of me drive away in frustration. I unfortunately had quarters.

This morning, of the three self-serve bays one had probably about 50 lbs of mud on the floor. You could not have washed your car there without trashing the inside of your car when you left. This is pretty typical for this place but maybe a little worse then usual. I have sometimes spent a dollar worth of cleaning mud off the floor with the sprayer before I could walk around my car. The other inside bay was occupied by the poor guy fruitlessly fussing with the credit card reader. So I tried my luck with the outside bay. After several attempts it amazingly accepted my credit card and started charging me money. But no matter how I changed the control dial, I could not get any pressure out of the spray hose. I got a trickle of soap and a strong drip for high pressure rinse. So I hit the stop button and my credit card got charged $2.50 which was a complete rip-off.

By then the guy who could not get the credit card reader to work had driven away so I moved over to that bay. The credit card reader would not work but I had anticipated this problem from prior experience and had a pocket full of quarters. I got my car washed. And I noticed that they had fixed what used to be ridiculously long hoses which I had complained about in a review about a year ago. Kudos! I also noticed that there was nowhere to hang my rubber floormats for washing so I ended up with them laying on the muddy floor. These things are pretty basic equipment for a car wash. The outside stall has them but at least one of the indoor bays does not.

Hurricane deserves a car wash that is better attended and better maintained. Interestingly there is a Red Dirt carwash near Costco in St George which is first class. I don't know if it is the same company or not.

We left Toroweap Overlook headed to Zion National Park and our truck really needed a bath! This is a simple car wash that you can drive a large truck into! There's a drive thru one across the street but if you are looking to spray off your vehicle yourself, this is it!

Everything you need in a coin wash. High pressure heated water to wash off the caked on dirt from the trails. I'll come back here on my next visit to Zion NP.

I loved this car wash. Everything works just perfect . I would recommend this place so you can return your rental shining like new.
