Red Bamboo was where I tried Botox for the first time. Dr. T and his staff were kind and knowledgeable. They were not pushy and really listened to my apprehensions. After I emphasized I only wanted a minimal amount in forehead, Dr. T was happy to oblige. He gently injected 10 units of Botox. I had no side effects and was thrilled with the result, natural!
I used Red Bamboo for the time I lived in Redington Shores. The IPL and other facials were performed by well qualified esthetician's, results were noticeable. I didn't realize how lucky I was to find Red Bamboo until I moved and had negative experience with a dermatologist and Botox. Face Maimed During Facial
The week before Thanksgiving I decided to treat myself to a facial. I had several important events coming up and wanted to look my best. So I went to Red Bamboo Medi Spa and had Robin as my aesthetician. I had only one blemish, which she attempted to extract. I remember the extraction felt quite harsh compared to others I've had in the past. Then, Robin used a "high frequency wand" on the area. She kept wanting to turn it up, but I declined as it felt painful. After, when I returned home I noticed a huge welt on my face. I figured it would go away, however, my face was throbbing in pain the entire night and when I woke it was MUCH worse. I had an ugly welt that was scabbing over. I called Red Bamboo and sent them photos. They refunded my facial and told me I could come in to be treated by the owner. I felt relived, thinking surely the owner could help. But then when I got there, they put me in a room with Robin, NOT the owner. I didn't trust that woman to touch my face again and left feeling very lied to. I now write this well into December and I can say that I have a very permanent scar on my face now. No one deserves to become disfigured from a simple facial so I hope that by sharing my experience I can save people from being harmed by this clearly incompetent woman and facility. Yes, I agreed to see you, but after speaking with my staff, it was my impression that you had spoken with Robin and that you were amenable to her post care suggestions. Red Bamboo and Dr.Toscano are Amazing 10*stars all day.
I have never had injections or fillers but my marionette lines were making me feel and look old.
I had gone to Red Bamboo for facials by Robin in the past and was always pleased with her, the staff and the spa. So I decided to see Dr. Toscano at Red Bamboo for these marionette lines. I had no idea what to expect but Dr. Toscano explained everything, new precisely what to do and the outcome was better than I could have imagined. I went in feeling old and left feeling spunky happy and thankful. Dr. Toscano has gained a forever patient.
Lastly Dr's assistant was outstanding as well. This is a doctor you can trust.

Soo,, wow. I'm unsure where to even begin. I made an appointment about two weeks ago to get a botox treatment, a service I have received here 2 maybe 3 times prior to this visit. Today when I arrived for my appointment I waited in their "relaxation room" for the technician to come get me. About 10 minutes pass and she escorts me to my room. As I'm starting to seat myself and get adjusted she brings up the fact that she saw I left a review after one of my previous visits and how it was only a 4 star review. I explained that I gave a 4 star because I have only received one service there and I cannot vouche for the entire facility. She kind of just looked at me and went to get the doctor. When he came in I asked him if I could record the procedure, I have a few friends who are interested in botox and wanted to kind of see. He seemed hesitant and I explained I would not record him and it would be just my face. He then looked at me and said "only if you change your 4 star review to a 5 star". I kinda just looked at him and was waiting for a laugh or a "just kidding" but it never came. He then proceeded to try and man-splain how Google reviews work and that "we are a small business and if I you think a 4 star review is good it's not. It brought our average down". I really was unsure of what to say so I kind of just stared at him in disbelief. Then I explained I gave an honest review of my experience and only gave 4 stars because I had only received one service out of the dozens that they offer and I could not speak for the entire facility. His response was "Well that's not our fault." At this point I was very uncomfortable and frankly pissed off that the Dr. was basically trying to bully me into changing my review. It was super clear he was not happy about it or seeing me. So I left. I told him how unprofessional and not ok that entire situation was and I walked out without receiving my service.
Not to mention from my first appointment I really didn't like him. He has an attitude and has big vibes of he's better than you. But I figured old man in cosmetics I'm sure he has money so I'm sure a certain level of attitude is assumed. But I'm shocked that he thought that his actions and words were appropriate in office.
I do not recommend.

Great staff. Doctor is fabulous, he listens to his staff. Love my results. I've been treated here twice and will continue with Red Bamboo Medi-Spa. Join the VIP club, it's worth it!! I'm so kissable now.

Walking in the door everyone makes you feel so welcome & the vibe & energy are just perfect! Dr. Toscano & Shelly are the absolute best! They both made me feel so comfortable & confident, they answered all my questions & concerns also gave me their honest, professional opinion. Super professional, but will also have you laughing so quickly! Couldn't be more happy with my decision to choose this Spa! I will never go anywhere else! No one should! I love this place!!! It always feels like home and Dr. T is the best around. I have been coming here for almost 4 years and I always leave super happy. Dr T. takes his time and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to injecting. He has a delicate touch and never over does it! He's the only one I trust with my facial injections.

This is an update of my 5/5/2021 review. I was gifted an excellent facial that was done by Robin. It was a Diamond Glo facial and left my skin feeling super soft and younger looking. Robin was very sweet and gave me lots of great tips for taking care of my skin. Thank you Dr T :)

I came for two visits to fill the marionette lines above my lip. Both times she tried to talk me into making my lips bigger instead. When I didn't agree on the second visit she left the room in a huff and when she and the doctor came back in the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Also on the second visit she didn't numb the area like she did the first time. I went to ask the front desk person to ask because I thought she may have forgotten and when they returned they told me they don't numb this area. This didn't make sense since they did the first time. My question also seemed to aggravate everyone which I didn't understand. Then after the second treatment she didn't put any arnica gel on the area like she did the first time. When I was leaving I said good bye and got no response from her. This is very frustrating since I paid a lot of money for this and drove 40 minutes to get there. I did really like the doctor though as he was very accommodating and very good at his work. I don't know how he deals with her and hope he realizes she is driving business away. I feel so uncomfortable now that I'm not even going to bother going back for the free microdermabrasion I was offered.

I went to Red Bamboo. The staff claims they gave me a price sheet. They didn't. I got chair and 1,450 dollars later... I couldn't afford it bc they lied about the price. The owner whos money hungry and has bad breath called the police on me. I ended up paying but they never gave me a receipt. I had to go back in and they jacked up the prices. I hope he goes to jail. I also think he scams people. He said one dude of my lip was bigger ( not true) and went ahead a injection it. Now I've got a permanent bump. He's a liar, scam artist and flat out Rude. Can't wait till he gets to heaven and has to answer to God of what a crook he is. He's a Keri with no compassion.

Gena W. was well aware of our prices because she called IN ADVANCE to ask us to beat the prices of a competitor, which we did. The Medical Assistant and I both went over the prices with her BEFORE she received any services, including our VIP program. She had IN HER HAND a menu of our prices and a copy of our policy that payment is due upon receipt of the services. NO ONE lied to her and NO ONE "upped" the prices. Her total bill was $ 1486. She had no credit card. Her bank account had insufficient funds for her to write a check or use her debit card. She "offered" to pay us with a $50 bill and a promise to deliver $100 per week. She even suggested we could hold her drivers license as "collateral." Who in their right mind gets aesthetic injections and then tries to pay with a $50 bill? This is theft, pure and simple. She is no different than a diner who eats an expensive meal in a restaurant and wants to leave without paying. Of course we called the police, and they were prepared to charge her with grand theft and take her to jail, which is where shoplifters like her belong. Eventually she found a neighbor who was able to pay her bill, so we did not press charges against her. This is now the fourth one-star review she has posted. Although I cannot print her full name here, I would warn my colleagues in the aesthetic industry to make careful note of her photograph that she has posted here and the name GENA W., and demand payment BEFORE performing any services on her because she will try to avoid paying you. If you try to collect payment she will leave you a one-star review.
