For me the best thai food in London. Maybe interior doesn't look nice and service is not great but who fears if you can eat such a good food?! I've tried thai in different places in Soho but still Rama is my favourite. Good prices, fresh food which is really tasty! I regret that now I live so far away.

Ordered via Uber at 8.05pm constant delays to delivery time even though it had apparently been collected. Updated at 915pm to food being prepared and the they cancelled the order at 945pm

Super good value thai food. Lovely waiter and experience - going to make it a local, regular! Laksa was particularly good!

Great restaurant for Thai take away and dinning with friends and family. The food was delicious, service was great, the atmosphere was cosy ambience. I overall liked everything of this restaurant. will be back soon again.

Do NOT judge this place by it's storefront. This is honestly the most authentic tasting Thai I've had other than a few other places outside the UK. I've tried the Pad Thai (£7!!!! In 2014 anyway, ha!), Lemongrass dish w/ chicken, and Basil dish w/ chicken. The absolute best. Years later I still think about this place- you won't be disappointed.

I had read so many "good value for money" comments and the website looked good so we thought we would give it a try.
Sadly the expectation was not lived up to it. First of all it was a super hot day and there was no air conditioning. The Thai green curry lacked the aromatic quality of finer places. The chicken chili and basil stir fry was overloaded with sugar and had 4, ok maybe 5 slivers of wafer thin chicken which they had try their hardest to slice as thinly as possible. Value for money, err NO. I was not impressed. Then it was time to pay, oh yes, you guessed correct, cash only, even debit cards were not accepted.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Irene Z.London, United Kingdom8242Jun 20, 2010
I ordered Home Delivery from Rama Thai and I felt like I was taken into the heart of Bangkok. Seriously, I am very familiar with Thai cuisine having lived in Thailand for 6+ months and this food is authentic and delicious! I highly recommend the currys and pad thai.
Try it!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Lina G.Dublin, Republic of Ireland351368Feb 6, 2009First to Review
The only truly positive thing about Rama Thai is that you can order online via just-eat.co.uk and manage to get food delivered with nearly no human contact whatsoever.
The food was decent-average Thai takeaway. The kwatiew kee mao was the high point, the tom yum soup was not amazing. It's always hard to judge food when you've ordered it via delivery because even the best meal will lose something after sitting in someone's scooter basket for twenty minutes.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Riley S.San Francisco, CA30654Jan 23, 2010
Eating in was a better experience than delivery apparently is. We had the pad thai and the panang curry. Both were delicious and the perfect size -- not too big, not too small.
For the cheap price, it's a good option.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Stef M.Chicago, IL12739920Jun 3, 2014
The food was very good and the price was inexpensive. I tried a homemade soup and a noodle curry. The service is pleasant and the restaurant was busy when I was there on a weeknight. The bathroom is in desperate need of a remodel.
