Trek Bicycle Columbia Maryland

This store has a very, very large selection of bikes for every kind of rider. The bikes are very high quality, colorful, and attractive as you would expect from the name brand Trek and also from the price points. Steve and Jason are great managers and they both go above and beyond to satisfy the customers from what I saw and experienced personally while visiting the store. Michael over in bike maintenance was fantastic in answering all my questions. The only bad thing about this store is the sale associate Gwen. She didn't seem to care or value me as a customer. I spent well over $2,000 and still was treated horribly by her. She was extremely rude, sarcastic, and horrible at customer service. She should be working in the stockroom instead of dealing with customers in person. Aside for that one bad apple, this store overall is great at what they do.

Very poor service. I waited for an hour without being helped. The gentleman working at the store was kind but they were severely understaffed.

There's a nice selection of bikes here, Trek was their main line. It's large and spacious so if you wanted to test a bike fit it wouldn't be a problem. The bike wear was also good- bibs, jerseys, shorts, mountain and road shoes, helmets. The sock collection was awesome.
It was busy and they practice social distancing, so we had to wait our turn to get inside.
Bought a kids bike and cycling socks.
They had a nice section of clearance mountain and road bike shoes, a bike trainer and a repair area.
Awesome service and we will definitely be back!

I assembled my bike myself. Worked great. I just wanted a professional to look at it. Per the manufacturers recommendation, I took it to RacePace. Ever since, it has ran horribly. The chain just fell off the the track. I picked it up a few days ago and rode for the first time. I took it back to them after the back wheel was wobbling. I spent $225 for them to expertly look at my bike and it's a disaster.

It originally looked great! Now, ugh! Called them and they aren't open. I guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Wa treated horribly by a female sales associate with shoulder length hair,!who was very condescending and rude to me.
Manager was very pleasant and helpful.
My uncle was buying a bike and we would have definitely walked out if the manager wasn't so nice. I will not ever deal with that female associate IF I EVER RETURN.!!!!

I am active duty military training for the DoD warrior games. Cycling is one of the sports I am trying out for. This store made sure that I had the proper bike and gear to achieve training success. Petter (sales manager) made sure the impossible was achieved and found me the perfect bike. He went out of his way to make sure the bike made it to my hands. This bike shop is absolutely amazing. Don has the best bike studio I have ever seen and was amazing making sure that the bike was my proper size and adjusted things to make sure I was 100% comfortable. I will never go to another bike shop even though this is an hour from my house. The staff is friendly and I'm so excited to hit the road. Thank you team for making the impossible, possible!!

My husband is a happy camper after his experience at RP. He was in and out, with a brand new road bike. He doesn't remember the person's name who helped him but he did a great job at helping my husband, and bent over backward to make sure he found everything he was looking for (which he did!). The prices are to be expected for a bike shop in Columbia, but the service and quality of the inventory makes it all worth it. We will be returning soon for more cycle gear.

So Ive purchased cleats before. And they definitely never came packaged like this. Kind of confused by the stores decision to sell me these. At the time they pulled them from the back for me. I called up Shimano, and they also told me they don't come in a bag like my picture. I know Race Pace is normally a reputable shop, but I'm questioning the authenticity of these cleats as I've seen clones before

My husband and I went in looking for a mountain bike for him, and a good bike for me for the easier trails and for leisure. My husband knew he wanted a full suspension, but other than that, we weren't entirely sure what we were looking for as we hadn't ridden bikes in many years.

Jill immediately greeted us at the door, and stayed with us, helping us shop for the next several hours! She was so knowledgeable and patient with us, even when our toddler started to fuss. When she wasn't sure on something, she made sure to get advice from her fellow employees. She also didn't make it a point to sell us their most expensive products, but rather exactly what we needed. We never once felt pressured to buy anything or spend more money than we were willing to.

At the end of the day, we walked out extremely happy with exactly what we were looking for. This shop has earned our loyalty for the rest of our time living in the area.

I have been going to Race Pace Bicycles since 2014. I purchased my Madone Project One from the Columbia store and service and attention I received was excellent. They took the time to understand my cycling needs and ensure the bicycle met my specifications. In 2017 I was hit by a motorist while they were driving and texting. Race Pace again went out of their way to assist me and get me back on the road. With today's online shopping,
