Q:
Taking a group of 24 to Boston for an outing. How long should I expect to need for the group to find food at Quincy Market on their own at a Saturday dinner time? I'm buying vouchers for there to make that easier at least. Is 1.5 hours enough?

Q:
Are there any Black owned stores in the market?

Hi: Unfortunately I don't know of any off hand/and or/confirm. Artists for Humanity/nonprofit--though does have a gift shop/space in old Faneuil Hall to help support their work. They work with teens from all… more

I and my daughter enjoyed the surrounding area including the water front. Having said that, as far as the market itself I gave three stars for being very ordinary. We were luck were there to kill some time before the flight out of Logan. If I was there for food or the experience I would have been greatly disappointed.
I had the lobster roll and my daughter had clam chowder bread bowl. There was nothing special about lobster roll for $27. I would've done much better if I just went to local market grab a couple of lobster and made it my self.
Clam chowder was good but again you can have it in any decent restaurant.
Hope this helps.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alli S.Chicago Loop, Chicago, IL92244Mar 30, 2024
Kong dogs is THE BOMB! Excellent service for a quick eatery, best corn dogs EVER! Menu offers unique selection and flavors and is very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
We also sampled many other places, the Boston clam chowda, Chinese and Greek. Everyone is very friendly and fun to talk to and of course, the food is delicious!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 18768263Mar 14, 2024
This was on the top of my Boston bucket list, and it was definitely worth the trip! It's a designated National Historic Landmark, located in downtown Boston area, not too far from Faneuil Hall. I heard that it was built 1824-1826, just FYI 1826 was the 50th independence anniversary for United States! Another interesting but grim fact, some of the early slave auctions actually took place near here.
My best friend and I walked through the whole building/market. I was already feeling full from brunch so just grabbed a delicious fruit smoothie for myself, but my buddy somehow had enough stomach space for a whole steamy hotdog haha. There were more than like 100 stores inside and outside, so many things to see and eat and drink, and so crowded with so many people, suuuuper lively, it truly felt like I was living and breathing Boston!Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 0 - Nov 26, 2023
What an amazing food hall. Everywhere you look is something unique. Some awesome seafood and pastries and desserts as well as pretty much anything else you could want to eat.
I saw so many things I'd have loved to have tried if I hadn't eaten right before walking over to explore.m this part of town.
It was bustling with life on a Friday evening and there were tons of buskers and talented street performers outside.
I also really enjoyed browsing the wares of the kiosks and booths on both sides of the market. Some pretty local items were for sale and Boston-Themed items.
Def a must see if you're in town. Next time I'm coming here to eat!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Nov 16, 2023
Frankly speaking, this place is a zoo.
It's close by to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and well, it's considered a place where you can find just about anything. Mac and cheese, tacos, chowder - you name it and it's at Quincy Market.
We were in and out and mainly got some drinks there. Definitely need to go back and see more of it. Go see for yourself and happy sightseeing (assuming the zoo doesn't bug you first)!Helpful 15Thanks 1Love this 9Oh no 0 - 4982312744Oct 11, 2023
Quincy Market comprises of three buildings which includes Quincy Market at the center, South Market, and North market. They were built at the same time in the 1820s to cope with the overcrowded Faneuil Hall.
Quincy Market is a big food hall and there were a variety of foods but it seemed like all the vendors had pretty much the same food. The food was nothing different in my opinion and nothing really stuck out to me. My daughter ordered a Korean Hot Dog and a Cookies and Cream Boba Tea. She was in heaven. I tasted the Korean Hot Dog for the first time but I just couldn't get with the flavors. Quincy Market is huge, very beautiful, and offers a variety of vendors for souvenirs. There are also a variety of shops to visit with clothing, candy stores, and food vendors outside. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants around the area if you can't find anything you like at Quincy Market. There is always live entertainment around the market which makes it entertaining to come and visit.Helpful 50Thanks 6Love this 32Oh no 1 - Sep 4, 2023
The food court mile - there is literally something for everyone here, but not all food stalls are created equal. The quality is really hit or miss, but how can you not stop and give Quincy Marley a try?
We found the local fare stronger than the other varieties - as much as I wanted my Greek meal to be stellar, it was just ok at Steve's Greek. The Monkey bar smoothie game was strong, though, and the chowders we sampled hit the spot.
The crowds and the lines can be a lot though, so be prepared to walk through once, figure out which stalls you want to get in line for, and then be patient with all the tourists who are trying to figure it all out.
Highly recommend you sample a little of a lot, then head upstairs for a table -- if you're lucky you won't have to stalk anyone long before a space opens up.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Nov 4, 2023
Stopped by Boston Halal here after a bit of shopping in the area.
We got the fish over rice bowl, spicy chicken wings and a Thums up. Sat upstairs in the rotunda.
Food was great and service was friendly.
Nice lights hanging from the ceiling.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 4, 2023
Love food halls & market so this place is a win for us when we visited Boston.
Place is bustling, we went thru the hall twice before we decided to get something. Very Long
Lines on some stalls but it moved fast.
Not really hungry, so was just tasting everyones food. We had hot dogs, frenchfries, cheese steak & chowder from different stalls. Nothing really stand out, but not bad either.
We took
Our food outside and theres music playing. All in all it was an enjoyable experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
