Queen City Garage Doors

Our garage door spring broke on Labor Day weekend with our cars trapped inside. I called another company that I'd seen commercials for that they provide 24/7 service, only to be told that they were not working the holiday weekend, but they could get to me Tuesday at 10.
I asked how am I supposed to get out of my garage? I was told that, although they didn't recommend it, I could get some friends to help me raise the 4-500 lb door by hand.
So I hung up, never to call those people again and called Queen City Garage Door. They admitted they were slammed until Sunday morning... Which was much better than having to wait an extra 2 days to get out of my garage!
David showed up on time & was awesome. He didn't up sell us, gave us lots of good info, had the parts on his truck & lubed and serviced the whole system for less than the big guys told me it would cost... Even replacing a lightbulb.
David subcontracts for Queen City. His company is DC Garage Door. I am most appreciative of & highly recommend both of them.

It's not possible for me to be more complimentary of the services they provided to me and my home. I called a competitor of theirs initially, during normal business hours, and had to leave a message (no live person answering). After waiting multiple business days for a return call, I finally gave up.

I searched on Yelp and the Yellowpages and randomly came across this organization. I called, a live person answered (a lost practice nowadays, and took down some initial information. Within a few minutes, a technician called me to clarify and then coordinated a time where he could come out and address the garage door issues. David was great. He didn't give me a window of time, meaning he didn't say "I can be there tomorrow some time between 8am and 4pm" like other companies do. He worked with me to find a specific time on the SAME DAY that would work for my schedule.

He showed up on time for the service, repaired what I needed repaired, educated me on proper garage door utilization and maintenance, and most importantly, was a professional the entire time, and provided an overall great service. His rate was extremely reasonable for that kind of service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Good garage service. I have found an excellent service provider for my garage and it is that this company trains their staff very well. the job they have done for me has been immaculate and they have done some pretty incredible things for me in some pretty outrageous times. David never complain and his professional approach is impressive.

Customer service, timely arrival, thorough repair, and preventive education; what more could a customer need. David was excellent! Although my issue was simple, more of a maintenance thing than a problem, David would have been perfectly capable of handling a more complex issue. He is personable, friendly, professional, and thorough. For as long as I have a garage I am confident in the service David will provide. Thank you!
