When I visited, we wore masks in line to check in, once we were in the bath area in our swim suits, we were unmasked.

This was not at all what I expected! It looks so much nicer on their website in pictures and I was very disappointed. First we paid for a couples private bath. All the baths are right next to each other in a row but divided by very thin walls and you can still hear everything going on through the bath house rooms.

Second and my biggest issue, it was very dirty!!! I expected much cleaner. Just look at the old mildew in my pics from the tub. The whole bath I was thinking of how I wanted to clean it and I wonder when the last time the did a proper cleaning was. This was not day old mildew from that day. It was caked on and on the walls too.

Third, you pay $$$ to take a take spa bath and it literally was worse than a bath I could make myself at home. The lady filled the tub with water and poured some epsom salt in. That's it!! Not even any bubbles. I make better salt baths with bubbles at home.

The only reason I gave two instead of one stars was the smoothie at the end was very very good lol. There's a smoothie shop near the entrance and she uses fresh fruit and they are amazing. (Not included in the bath price). But if you come here for a dirty bath, at least get a smoothie after.

Historically charming and easily my favorite house.

Quapaw Baths offered a rejuvenating retreat steeped in history and relaxation(google where the water comes from). In gorgeous Arkansas, this oasis of tranquility transported me to a bygone era while delivering a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Great escape from the city and tucked deep into nature.

One of the highlights of Quapaw Baths is its steam room, where you can immerse yourself in scorching hot temperatures that leave muscles feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. The intense heat creates a detoxifying experience, leaving visitors left me feeling so cleansed.

Another must-visit part is the ancient water bath, a testament to the rich history of Quapaw Baths. Stepping into the soothing waters is like stepping back in time, offering a glimpse into the healing traditions of generations past.

Rejuvenates the body, mind, and spirit. Highly recommend!!!

Private bath was relaxing in a nice size jet tub. Spring feed, 25min. Appears that they may be short staffed as we waited for our next service to begin for over 1/2 hour.

They provide slippers & robe & lockers with pkg. Ryan is excellent and hold great conversation as well. So was so relaxed i fell asleep during massage and separate foot message :)
For price this was definitely worth it after two days of hiking 11 miles.

Recommend soaking in all the "pools" of various temperatures and cooling off on the one in the back. The staff explains everything you need to know to enjoy your time there. There is also a small cafe that also sells alcoholic beverages, coffees and snacks.

Cool experience. The baths were probably a little over hyped and over priced but glad we gave it a try. Not something I have to do again.

Wanted to check out and experience Quapaw Bathhouse. I read the material ahead of time, so I understood it is more of a modern experience. I do like the offering of the community pool for $25 if you want the healing properties of the mineral water. They do have to put a little chlorine in there and you must wear a bathing suit. They also have a store where you can purchase their products.

I chose the couples' aromatherapy option. You can also get a single private bath. Relaxing and somewhat romantic. We chose the muscle bathsalts, which were eucalyptus. We were in a double whirlpool in a private room. The tub is on a timer. When done, we git dressed and went into the main room to cool off and drink cucumber mineral water. It's worth the money and the time.

A lot of changes took place after Covid. And I know they are doing their best. But I do miss how things used to be prior. Anyway.... The steam cave is now closed to the public. :-(

And that really stinks. It was really one of the main reasons I come here. But their spa services are still good. (Upstairs) Massages, facials and the personal hot soak is what I do now. I no longer soak in the Public pools due to the fact that it's pretty crowded and the lines are now first time first serve. I don't want to stress out by standing in line and hoping for a spot. So I just book the private soak now. The facials are ok. *The massage is great. But Don't expect deep pressure. Even though you want deep tissue.
      * Private Soak are $40 but I didn't really have a relaxing experience due to the way the rooms are set up.

Very relaxing! We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too crowded. We did not do a service: just paid the $25 for the pools and spent about 2 hours going between them. Sitting under the waterfalls was the best part. The deck lounges are a great place to rest when you get too warm. The staff was super friendly and walked around to refill waters. Bring rubber sole sandals or you can buy a pair for $7. Bring anything you might need to get ready afterwards. Just soap in the showers and one very weak hair dryer. Bring a bag for women's swimsuits. The suit spinner is broken on the women's side. Towels are provided.

We reserved a couples private tub experience with Quapaw. There was no information regarding parking on their website. We learned that there are two hour street parking across from the bathhouse rows as well as a public parking structure a little farther away ( follow the signs). Due to a sprained ankle the private tub experience is safer for me than the public pools. The attendants released the water and disinfected the tub between clients, so it was very clean.

I reserved for my husband and me 20' of the private bath to soak in minerals and other good stuff, it was very nice. We had reservations already but I noticed that the public pools were quite full the day we went. The people who work there were very friendly and kindly guided us. When we arrived they gave us white comfortable robes and slippers. After the bath, Allan (who was my massage therapist and esthetician) guide me to the massage room. I had a Swedish massage with aromatherapy and hot stones. The service was pampering. My husband and I returned to our hotel relaxed. The building is old and needs some improvements. But it's a beautiful building full of history. We will surely return.

This place is a joke. We had an anniversary "spa package" reserved for weeks complete with a couples massage. We get there and find out one of their masseuse' cannot make it. So, they try to put my Wife in a different slot from me. Meaning we would basically be doing our thing separately. When we objected, they told us rearranging our slot would rearrange other people coming after us. So..they could care less that our package was screwed as long as no one else's was. Terrible management and customer service. We got a refund and left. Stay away. This place sucks.
