Dr. Brent Wendel is a great foot and ankle doctor. Anything you need done he does it with much professionalism. He's caring, personable and very knowledgeable. His medical assistant is also really great. You can do everything you need online with ease. I highly recommend his office!

Dr. Wendel was really kind and I felt like the entire staff genuinely cared about me and helping me solve my issues. The online portal is a really great tool for contacting medical staff and was very easy to use. The front desk staff was very prompt with getting all the answers to my questions prior to my appointment.
I'm extremely happy with the care I received here and wish every doctors office was a little more like this one!

If there's any upside to being injured on "Pill Hill", it's that everything is so close to each other. After being discharged from Swedish after my fracture, they sent me literally across the street to consult with Brent R. Wendal, a podiatrist, at the Puget Sound Foot and Ankle Center.

Yes, Dr. Wendel has a bunch of letters behind his name along with many recognitions, memberships and board certifications, but a lot of people make judgment calls based on intangibles. I've never heard of or seen Dr. Wendel until the moment we met. Instantly, he felt like a good person, someone who's down to earth and also professional.

His staff is also very nice and accommodating. Although there were no appointment times, Dr Wendel's assistants said I can be a walk-in and that they will be able to fit me in, which they did. They also respond quickly to e-mails or messages.

There offices are open Mon-Fri from 8am-5pm, however Dr. Wendel is only in Mon-Thurs.

Very nice Dr and staff, but... I needed orthodics to protect my feet from very painful plantar fasciitis. The Dr used electronic devices to take the measurements of my feet and the orthodics were very uncomfortable and painful to wear. I tried letting him adjust them several times but had to give up, as I just felt it was never going to be anywhere close to a precise enough fit and was taking a lot of time and effort .

I'd recommend you find a Dr that uses the "foot cast" technique, Dr Saigo in Bellevue in excellent.

Both the Doc and his assistant are not of this world. They define how to treat a new and continual patient. Health Care would benefit in general if it did a case study on how these two professionals interact.

It's hard to get that enthusiastic about a podiatrist, but I had such a great experience with Dr. Wendel and his team. I went in for a minor in-office toe surgery which I had been dreading and putting off for almost a year. While a giant needle in my toe was not exactly fun, Dr. Wendel and his assistant Chris have such a great "bedside" manner and are so professional and knowledgeable that I felt as comfortable as I could under the circumstances. Other than the needle part, it was overall a pleasant experience, which I can't say about most doctor visits. Thank you Dr. Wendel and Chris!

I went to see Dr. Wendel for plantar fasciitis. Both him and Chris were personable, patient and present. They answered all my questions thoroughly and with kindness. Their office was very busy but acted as if I was the only one that mattered. I was seen promptly and never felt rushed. Chris called my insurance and explained to me my options. I would highly recommend the office. I also want to give shout out to the gentlemen working the front desk. He was very busy but stayed calm and patent.

They are so wonderful, and exceptionally kind! I can't speak highly enough of their services.

Dr Wendel and his assistant Chris provide amazing care for my feet. I have neuropathy, plantar fasciitis and a tendency to get ingrown toenails.
Dr Wendel is a very caring guy and always takes the time to really listen to my concerns and treat whatever problem I'm experiencing.
He and Chris offer a professional and friendly environment where I get the care I need.

I am grateful to Dr. Brent Wendel for his great skill at assessing my feet and helping me with suitable orthotics. I thought I would need surgery but thankfully not now! He also performed a complex surgery on a friend of mine and all went well. Professional, friendly, and expert care. I'm grateful!
