Pro Nails

I've been here twice now. The first time I had a completely average experience, the second time was a little sub-par.

Loves: the decor, atmosphere, and the massage chairs. This nail shop really takes it a step above with the art on the walls, the tiling, the soft, relaxing mood lighting. They even provide complimentary beverages, which most basic nail salons do not.

Dislikes: The services I received were standard at best. Mani/pedis both times- the first visit was probably the quickest pedicure I've ever received, the second visit the manicurist piled on on gobs of polish and my nails were not dry even hours later (which, of course, resulted in messed up nails).

I'll probably be back to give them one more chance. The prices are decent, and maybe third time's the charm and I'll get an awesome nail tech.

This is my second time here. Ken did my nails. I can confirm that the quality of consumer service and nails are consistentently excellent. The decor is up to date and it's really clean. I love the hand painted mural that goes around the wall on both sides. The parking is tight and makes me nervous and there is alot of traffic on the weekends. I have ever had to wait to get in a chair no matter the day or time. I noticed a lot of people coming for the pedicures ....it's in a separate room and looks serene. Great experience so far. I tried it for the convenience but think this will become my new go to nail establishment.

I just finished my second appointment ever here and this place is great! They usually offer you a drink if you get a pedicure, and they always make sure you feel comfortable. Very caring and thoughtful stylists! Would recommend to give this place a try.

They were really rude and they didn't even say hi or anything and way over price and also I do not recommend daisy she is so rough and she made my middle finger infected and never washed her tools I do not recommend and also the manager is so mean because I just told him that she was a little rough and he was so mad and so mean to me and almost made me cry I don't recommend this place.

I've been sitting like this for an HOUR!!!! First it was 10 minutes, then it was she is going to fix someone's polish who just messed it up. Water is cold, no apology, just getting service 1 hour and 5 minutes later, and the gel polish they are suppose to take off still on. Gave me a beverage menu,not one beverage or asked me what I wanted to drink. Not even an offer of some type of compensation, just thanks for being patient. I will NOT be back! Not to mention what a waste of gas cause I drove 30 minutes to get service I could have gotten up the street from my house!!! Which is why I came here in the first place. Gas and time wasted!!!!!! Guess if I was as light as my other patrons of this place I could have received the service they did! Tim tried to redeem it but I won't be back! Not on him!

Great customer service and always done great. I've been going to this salon for the past two years and have tried many many places. This is the best place I have found.

April did my pedicure. It was amazing! She took care of me in a very professional manner. Easily dealt with my little issue. The massage was heavenly!

Ivy who gave me dip manicure, silently preformed an exquisite job that included details that over my 30 years of experience I didn't know I even needed.

I'm so happy with this nail salon I would drive miles to get here.

Gosh! I don't know what's happened lately with Pro Nails. I use to love going there to get my nails done. Not sure if the products they are using are old or what. But I got my nails done (gel manicure) on January 13th and the very next day my nails were a complete disaster. The polish peeled on every single one of my nails! The polish seemed to clump up on my nails. I didn't even bother to go back the next day to have them redone and them blame me or say I did something to my nails to mess them up. Lisa was the tech that did my nails that day and she was very rough as she did my nails. It wasn't a good or relaxing nail treatment. Nevertheless, I'm going to have to just learn how to do MY OWN D----! nails and save my money.

Let me just start by saying.... Ivy (the owner's wife) is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service!!! Great MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER SERVICE will keep a business thriving and customers happy. I have been to this nail shop several times - I like the atmosphere and that they are generally quick. I've even referred people here.

I had a terrible experience once but gave them the benefit of the doubt and came back.
The next 2 or 3 times after that instance, everything went well (Max, the owner was also there those times).

Unfortunately, I can't say the same for this most recent visit - absolutely horrible experience, a waste of my money! Manju did a fantastic job with my pedicure as always! (I don't want to take that away from her)

But that damn Ivy who attempted to do a design and failed miserably only to blame it on the polish, she was not only rude and had an attitude but could care less about me not being satisfied. Yet they have on the website that they strive for customer relations and to let them know if you're not completely satisfied and they'll fix it!

I don't even care about the lack of skill on the design or lack of communication concerning it! It's the rudeness and attitude that did it for me!

I am completely turned off and will NOT return! Strictly because of IVY. Very unfortunate for Max - please check your wife's attitude and lack of customer care!

My go to nail salon is located in Rockville but since I was in the Baltimore area, I decided to give this nail salon a try which was a mistake!

Daisy did my nails and she was very rude. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but I could feel the negative vibe when I was with her. I showed her a picture of how I would like the size and shape to be. She did the total opposite! She rushed the whole time and the woman next to me noticed it too. The woman next to me had a really nice person doing her nails as she carefully took time. But my person, she buffed my nails way to hard and I tried to be nice and calm about it. But when it starts to hurt and burn, I asked her if she could gently buffed them. She got mad that I commented and she said she has to do it. She then started rushing even faster.

I told her one of the nails is crooked and she had the audacity to say that it is because my finger is crooked.

If you go here try to book an appointment with MiMi, the nicer woman that was next to me, instead of Daisy.

Well I gave them 3 chances but they just don't take their appointments seriously. I had to leave today after waiting 30 minutes with no one check on me or offer me anything to drink (included with all services they say). I called up another place and they took me right away and I'm already done. You have to make an appointment with a specific tech or you'll just wait for an hour.
