Nothing like eating half of a sandwich to see a little hair surprise coming out of the other side.. COMPLETELY DISGUSTING!
And they didn't even reply to my emails or complaints! So now you are getting this picture blasted everywhere I see the name Potbelly. Should have emailed me back sooner. It's possible I'll seek litigation since I started to feel ill after eating the portion I did eat..Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jourdan F.Gretna, NE44651366Oct 11, 2021
Quick lunch spot by my office! Nothing too unique compared to other sandwhich shops but I'd come again so 4 stars it is. I've tried both the Mediterranean and the Avo Turkey and would recommend either.

Was pretty good. Started going here because the one in papillon closed down. Haven't gotten anything bad.

Omaha's second Potbelly Sandwich Shop (next to the Longhorn) had its soft opening yesterday and was open to the general public today. I really like the bread that they use as opposed to the area's other sandwich restaurants, and they have really good soups of the day, usually giving you four options, one being vegan/vegetarian.
I was talking with one of the owners today, and just like their other location, there will be live music I think from Thu-Sun with local talent. This is locally owned by two brothers who fell in love with Potbelly in Chicago and decided to bring it to Omaha.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 16, 2016
I have meant to check out these sandwich shops since they arrived in Omaha. I think many years ago - I may have eaten at one in the airport in Chicago - but I could be confused as well . Anyway - I was looking for someplace different yesterday and happened to have this pop up on my restaurants rest in the area and I was very excited.
Great space, free wifi and I love knowing that there will be some local artists playing there on occasion. The menu was so easy to review and chose from, the staff was extremely helpful and the food came out very fast. I ordered the Pizza Sandwich with some added tomatoes and onions and I loved it and cannot wait to go back and get it again.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 24, 2018
I've had a few different sandwiches and haven't left hungry! It's filling, tastes wonderful and I love grabbing a cream soda to pair. The ice cream is good too!

Stopped by for a late lunch (3pm) while shopping in the area. The two ladies who took our orders seemed annoyed that we were even there. The first girl just stared at me without saying or asking anything. Something like a "what can I get for you? Have you ever been here?", would have been nice. Meal cost $32 for a kids meal, a regular Italian sandwich meal and a regular turkey club meal. Nothing outrageous there. My husband got the broccoli cheddar soup with his meal and it was good and he liked the sandwich. My sandwich was OK, but my son's grilled cheese was hard and crusty and we had to ask for the applesauce and cookie that came with it. They didn't have any stocked and had to go get it. The decor is cute, but I guess I expected more. The whole thing was just MEH. Basically a Panera want-to-be with worse service. We wouldn't go back unless everything else around was packed. It just wasn't anything special.

This was a quick lunch pit stop. We got two bowls of soup and a side of the buffalo Mac with blue cheese. The fancy Mac was very intriguing because who doesn't like Mac and cheese? With buffalo chicken... Ahh yes please. The soups we tried were the broccoli cheddar and... The brown one :) the broccoli cheddar was impressive- thick, and clearly lots of broccoli but not in a bad way.

So I had a free sandwich coupon that came in the mail and decided to give PotBelly a try. The place is super clean and organized. I ordered the "Italian" which had capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, salami and provolone. The sandwiches are all heated via a toaster oven. I got oil and Italian seasoning on mine. Overall it was a great sandwich. The size was just right but if your super hungry you'll leave this place hungry. Sandwich size is not like Jimmy Johns or subway. I will definitely stop back at some point to try out the meatball sandwich!
