This is a neighborhood liquor store, it is stocked well with the basics and a eclectic variety of beers , wines and liquors. So convenient . The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Nice shop with a great variety of wines, imports and general adult beverages. The prices were average. Had a few different specialty drinks that we tried and a good selection of hard ciders.
My favorite new find: Grape Smash! Yummy.
I enjoyed browsing the aislesHelpful 11Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 0 - Becky L.Clifton Park, NY753466Jan 9, 2023
Clean, nice employees, ok selection.
However when you walk in, the 'clean' smell can be a little overwhelming and can make it hard to breathe in there sometimes.
I will say it is amusing watching everyone leave the grocery store and head right to the liquor store shopping cart full of food and all.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 62526825120Nov 27, 2017
Bottom Line: Recently relocated to a bigger spot offering a better layout for shopping for beer, wine and Booz.
Port Tack Wine and Spirits is located in the same Bay Dale shopping center but they have moved into a new, larger spot. Port Tack now occupies the old Rite Aid location and after revamping the interior they have loaded it full of beer, wine and booze. The new location is more spacious and much easier to shop. The prices seem ok and they are even better if you have a coupon which get mailed out in the local mailers.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nick C.Cambridge, MA20261Jan 17, 2021
I was having a bad day, and the cashier at the register was rude and made my day worse.
Go next door to green market or Walgreens. The prices are the same if not cheaperHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Miguel C.Annapolis, MD168100132Feb 23, 2020
Good selection of local beers but I was disappointed to not see a larger variety of imported beers and or craft beers from the West Coast. I specifically was looking for a good Japanese beer to accompany some Japanese food, but the selection did not satisfy my needs. Prices are reasonable and there is enough to find a style that meets your needs. The wine and liquor selection seemed large enough to get the job done as well. I hope they can meet my needs by the next time I pop my head in to grab a new taste of Maryland or something nearby. Have a great day and enjoy. Hopefully you have better luck.

Yeah, you're going to check the receipts at some point, will read this review at some point... but, though I frequented this place, I stopped going here because the staff (with the exception of Bob and Johanna) are incredibly rude.
There's a time when you can say, "Thank you, thanks for stopping by, here's your change, we'll see you again." ... whatever... but I'll be damned to get disrespected from some punk-ass kids.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin M.Annapolis, MD03Sep 24, 2018
This place has really stepped up their game in the last year since moving to a larger space. The beer selection is excellent with enough rarities to keep a beer nerd like me coming back and prices are fair.

I agree that the clerks here could at least say hello and thank you. Sometimes they just make u feel weird bc they dont say anything at all and Im not into ass kissing either -- I dont work there! WTF?!

Since I just slammed Fishpaw's on Ritchie Highway, I figured I should give a stellar review to my liquor store of choice that delivers quality, great prices and service with a smile.
Port Tack and its staff are great folks who will help you find exactly what you're looking for and, unlike Fishpaw's, it's not perceived as a major inconvenience to them.
I frequently clip their coupons from the local mailers and get great deals on top of already terrific prices. They routinely have super deals on wine that compare to the low prices you'd see at Trader Joe's in Virginia. And, as I learned recently, they'll take care of you if you buy in large quantities, like cases of liquor or wine.
When your hands are full, they'll gladly carry your bags or boxes out to your car. I think I'd have a better chance of giving myself CPR and surviving than getting the same friendly treatment at Fishpaw's.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
