I honestly didn't have a one star experience. I will say, they seemed to be very understaffed and struggling to keep it all together. That said, they were as quick as possible as we navigated the drive through lane.

This is a typical Popeyes. Good food, decent service, decent prices.

Hands down, my favorite place for fried chicken (I absolutely can't stand KFC). The menu changes occasionally and there are limited time offers. If I'm ever in the mood for fried chicken I look for a Popeyes.

Our food arrived hot and crispy. Everyone's orders were as requested. There were plenty of sauces and napkins and forks/knives/etc.

As with many of the fast food places at the shore, there are longer lines during the busy times of the year. Hands down this is a better deal on chicken than any other place I've tried in the area

Yes, the drive through line can get long. Yes, it can take a long time compared to some other places. Don't get in the line if you don't have the time. If you do have the time, or are willing to go between the lunch and dinner rush, you can get nice hot crispy chicken and flavorful sides for a good deal.

      I will definitely return.

Is there a zero star? Stopped in the drive through for a quick meal for my daughter. Pouring rain, and there's no cover ... attempted to order and was cut off and told to wait. Put up my window ... took him 5 min to get back to me. Ordered 2 legs, Mac and cheese and Dr Pepper. No response. 2 min later he mumbled a price.

Pulled up and waited 10 min for the car in front to receive their food. Then we got ours! One leg, one breast, sweet tea and Mac and cheese ... with no fork to eat it with. What a joke.

Family got food poisoning here and we each spent between two and four days in bed. Ruined our vacation. When I called the manager to let him know he started cursing and said we should "Go back where you came from."

      Not worth it at all.

First off drive-through workers argued the entire time I was at the window. Nothing was said to me just yelling back and forth between workers.

Next off my for was all shoved in one bag and overflowing. It should have been in 2 bags but nope all shoved in one and crushed.
When I pulled away and reviewed my food found it crushed and was missing part of my order. So not only was the food I received poorly handled I was shorted food I paid for.

Yes I could have parked my car, walked in and complained right at that moment and got my order corrected but honestly with the argument I heard at the window I wasn't comfortable at all going inside that restaurant.

So over all poor serve, poor quality, and a pretty cruddy experience.

I eat lunch here at least once a week and feel like I need to refute the haters.

Yes, the parking lot is setup really strangely built but at least they have parking, which is not common among Hbg restaurants.

There is high turnover of employees but the management is steady and knows there business. They were closed for a week or so due to electrical issues but since they've reopened I've found good service, good food and the restaurant is clean.

I always get a mild 2-piece combo, both breasts, with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. The chicken is consistently fresh and juicy. The biscuit isn't as fluffy as possible but it is good and I like to drizzle their honey sauce on it.

At 12:15 today I was at this location and ordered a three piece chicken dinner at the drive-thru. When I got to the window to pay I asked them to add two more items to my order but was told that it was the lunch hour that I could not add to my order. There was only one other person behind me and no one in the store.

If you look at reviews, you see a one star trend here...first of all, good luck getting in line! Most times the line goes out to the road, and I am honestly surprised there aren't more accidents there because of it. The one day I got stuck in the line and I was locked in. I was almost panicking because I was sitting at least 2o minutes before the person blocking the only exit would finally move so I could leave. I left so angry and perturbed, not to mention hungry. The line literally hadn't moved in 20 minutes!!! So about a week later I stopped again only because my son was constantly requesting a sandwich and we drive by it once a week. There was no line, so we got lucky. We ordered 3 sandwiches and a meal, they were out of my favorite mustard. At the window the worker took my card and was gone a suspiciously long time with it. There was no one else there, and I should have checked the bag before driving off, but this location makes one not want to linger. We got home ravenous and opened the bag to discover...a missing sandwich.

      Garbage.

I never cared for the annoying commercials, but have been anxious to try KFC's competitor just the same. There's not too many locations within an acceptable driving distance from me or convenient to get to, so being out of town I decided to try the closest to me. I regret it now.

Had the lights not been on at this location, I would think it was abandoned. The lot is horribly designed and needs a lot of work. Though I got into an argument with a moron in the lot at the drive thru, it was not so much her fault as it is the shoddy design of this lot (though she was still a complete idiot just the same) that caused the confusion.

Inside didn't look too particularly inviting, which is why I decided to use the drive through option.

I tried to order, but they were out of some items at 8pm - which is ridiculous. I did get some wings however, though generally they wouldn't be my first choice. I would normally have just declined the place in general, but I did drive out of my way for this decrepit place and wanted something to at least try.

The wings were kinda blah. Every time I see those commercials from now on I'm going to laugh (along with being annoyed). Frozen wings would be equivalent to what I had. The fries were not greatly hot, but were tasty. The biscuits were average and frankly I could make the same quality again from the frozen section - so I ask, why pay when you could just make it yourself and for much cheaper?

They were seriously cheap with the condiments. I ordered an 8 piece meal along with an extra side and I got ONE pack of butter and TWO packs of honey (honey with chicken?). Nothing else. I mean I've been to some places were they are stingy with the condiments, but damn.

I may or may not give the Popeye's brand another chance down the line, but certainly wouldn't return to this location. This place surely didn't give the brand a great name and pretty much set them back for me personally. Being cheap with the condiments is one thing, but you could save money and aggravation and just buy frozen chicken/biscuits and do it yourself as opposed to coming here - because they'll taste about the same.

After reading the reviews I almost changed my mind but I really wanted to try the Popeyes chicken sandwich. And boy I am glad I did. I ordered three spicy chicken sandwiches French fries mashed potatoes and shrimp. The workers were friendly. The food didn't take too long at all. The sandwiches were very good!!! I will go back. Yaa the floor was dirty, and the drink counter was a mess but overall for a fast food joint in the city I was happy! I do wish the fries had been hotter. I did like the sweet tea too!

Food - was ok, they were out of coleslaw

Cashier- Definitely could use some customer training.

Cleanliness- inside was pretty good out side looked like we at a landfill.
