PNC Bank

I've been banking with PNC for years and have never had any issues with extra charges and if I did, it's because it's my own fault. Eventhough I've opened up an acct at Bank of America and had a positive experience, I have not transitioned my banking needs over to BoA.

I recently made a very large purchase, and needed a cashier's check but unfortunately this is the closest location to JAX.

Before making the one and a half hr or so drive here, I called and spoke with Donna to see what I needed since I did not want to waste any time and return wo the check. Donna told me I needed to have the funds in my acct (of course), a government issued ID such as a driver's license, and their bank card.

The day I went there, I arrived a few mins before opening at 9 am. The doors were opened on the dot. Donna actually was the teller that issued me the check. I did not have to pay any fees for the check. I'm not sure if that's standard for any accounts or if it's because of the type of account I have. I was thankful that there was no surprises and I got what I went there for. I was in and out within 15 mins.

The building itself looks a bit older and they could use some curb appeal but served my purpose so no real complaint here.

I have been using PNC bank since I was 16 years old. My parents took me into my first PNC with $100 to start an account. 15 years later and that account is still going strong! When I moved to Florida 3 years ago I was so happy to find out we have a few PNC bank locations in town. I was in this PNC branch this past week and again like others the customer service was wonderful.

This PNC branch has the software and the machine to make new and replacement PNC cards. This is so helpful! If your card gets lost, stolen, or just is old and you need a new one, this place can create you a new card in the matter of a few minutes. It is also nice that you can keep the same number as well.

The staff and Bankers are always really friendly and help answer lots of questions! I would for sure recommend this bank in the Gainesville area!

I've been banking with Pnc for about a year now and I couldn't be happier. My money is easy to get and the wait is never long. Norman set me up with a checking account everything just seems simple compared to my former banks, if you need a new bank or just want to spread your eggs around go to the Pnc on 13th street and 18th ave in Gainesville.

This bank needs to go out of business I liked them at first but now hell no do you know they can close your account without your permission and they don't have to tell you why .... don't use them has your bank

I have had a terrible experience with PNC Bank. Some told my identity and opened and account with this Bank. My credit card notified right away that some one had transferred money from my credit card to PNC Bank. I told the Credit Card company that it was not authorized and they reversed the charge right away. I then went to the local Branch on 13th street To close this account. The lady that helped me was very professional and even gave me some information on these would be crooks. She said that she would turned it over to the appropriate people and not to worry. This was in March they started sending me bank cards and statements I called reminding them that I don't have and account with them. They acknowledge that the notes backed my statements and assured me that everything was ok. Now are sending a bill for over 2000 dollars for and over draft. Their are no charges on the account they just want the initial deposit back. These people are shady pleas stay away.
