I won't be returning but my friends might - I'll skip ahead to the reason and then go on to the full review. The night of the pedicure one of my big toes was throbbing, the nail had been cut but some was left to poke into my skin. It was very painful and I had to soak my foot and spend about 5 minutes gently shifting the nail spur out from under my skin so that it could be removed. Yikes, never had that happen. The other reason I won't be returning is because the spa, which appears to be super clean, reminded me of a brightly lit modern factory - it was loud, very loud!
Now onto the description of my experience...
Three of us booked pedicures for 11:30am on Sunday. The salon is very large, so there was no difficulty seating us together. We booked the Classic Pedi ($38) which was described as including shaping nails & cuticles, gentle exfoliation, orange scrub, massage and regular nail polish. Once we were in the seats we were quickly upsold to the Deluxe Pedi ($67) which is described as the hydrating pedicure you have been waiting for! A luxurious treatment including a soak and sugar scrub, moisturizing exfoliation, cuticle work, clay masque, paraffin wax, nails clipped and filed, hard skin is removed and a renewing clay masque is applied plus a long hot stone massage. I'm not sure it was worth $67 plus tip but it was certainly deluxe.
I haven't checked in with my friends regarding their experiences, but we all left with pretty toes. So if you don't mind the bright lights and loud environment, then you should check them out. Parking can be challenging, so plan to arrive about 20 minutes early.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - J V.Santa Cruz, CA201277Dec 30, 2023
This was my second visit. The first visit, my gel manicure lasted only a week before peeling but my toes were great so I wanted to give it another chance. I told Ana about it, and she made it her top goal to make sure it would not peel. She was so thorough and kind, explaining every process, including cutting my cuticles three times. I really appreciated her care and customer service!

This was the most painful manicure I've ever had. The nail tech kept filing my fingers and made me bleed. She broke one of my natural nails and filed, scraped, and buffed them down so thin that they were nearly see through. I'm so disappointed in my experience here.

Always super happy when I come here! They are well organized and efficient yet don't cut corners. Definitely one of the best nail salons in PDX.

I have decided to start treating myself to regular "self-care" spa treatment days. That includes getting the deluxe manicure and pedicure service done. I have gone to a couple different shops around town for the same treatment and been very disappointed with the quality, outcome and service. Not only that but the atmosphere around me and how I feel while I spend a two hour experience in a shop. I have extremely dry, calloused feet with a lot of extra dead skin on them that needs to be removed every 3 weeks when I come in. It is not very comfortable to come into a shop and feel ashamed about a service provided for exactly what I desperately need. Plumeria welcomes you in by your name and a smile. After working with a couple Nail Techs I found Kim and I have the best connection and she has my hands and feet looking and feeling absolutely magnificent! She is detail oriented, she listened to my concerns and did exactly what I asked for, she removed all my callouses and dead skin (leaving my feet baby smooth) while making me comfortable and confident along the way , she was kind, pleasant and allowed me to relax and enjoy the massage chair while she worked. My experience was wonderful! I will continue to book with Nail Tech Kim every 3 weeks. I highly recommend this service, shop and investing in yourself as it's the best payoff one will ever get!!!!!!!

My experience at Plumeria was fantastic! I booked a regular pedicure and gel manicure with Rose. She was amazing! She was friendly, and her work was top notch! The first orange color I chose for my pedicure wasn't providing full coverage even after 4-5 coats so she offered to change the color for me. We chose a pink shade and it came out great! I am in love with my gel manicure. My nails haven't looked this good in a long time and I love the hot pink and sparkly lime green colors (I was having a hard time picking between the colors, so Rose offered to do both!) Also, rose gives great hand and food massages! I was so relaxed! I'll definitely be back!

I have been to so many nail salons over the years, it's not even funny. I came to this salon to have my wedding nails done a few months ago and I never want to go anywhere else again! It's always busy, so making an appointment is definitely recommended. I receive the best customer service here and I love everyone who works there. They remember you and make you feel like a valued customer. The owner is so nice and really easy to talk to. Tracy and Vienna have given me the best shellac manicures I've ever had! Love this place. Highly recommend!

Made a last second reservation at this place before heading to the airport. Just booked a simple gel manicure but couldn't figure out how to state i wanted a design online. They did a great job at following the inspiration pic after I just showed up and asked if they could do it. And the color match is about perfect. Lisa did my manicure and I believe Annie did my design.

Great salon! Haley did a great job with my nails, which had been destroyed by acrylics!
