About the Business
Established in 2019. In April of 2019 we became the new owner/operators of Pine Point Grill in Scarborough, Maine. As owners of Fish Bones Grill in Lewiston, Maine, we decided to expand into the Southern Maine market where Pine Point Grill offered a unique opportunity to continue doing what we love best. At Pine Point Grill, we remain steadfast in the belief that good food is a vital and vibrant part of our community. While coastal Scarborough has often been perceived as seasonal, at Pine Point Grill, we believe that every season is our season. We will serve the historic community of Pine Point and the greater Scarborough area year-round with a regionally focused menu, intimate lounge and come-as-you-are dining. We look forward to creating a long-lasting connection between our community and the most comforting cuisine.

Super accommodating when 1/2 of our party was an HOUR late due to traffic, and even offered me use their phone when my WiFi signal was not as strong. Enjoyed delicious drinks and wine list while we waited. Dinner was phenomenal and staff were professional and friendly.
I should note that our retired guests who dine out often were a little surprised with the pricing, so check the menu ahead of time so you're prepared. Inflation is real. Well worth it for a solid night out.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Anita M.Collinsville, OK783152Jul 16, 2023
Stopped in last night on a recommendation from a local, so glad we did...and really glad we made reservations too, don't think we would have been seated without them, but with them we walked right in.
We were looking for oysters, and these were amazing, sooooo good.
We also tried the seafood chowder, which is chock full of scallops, shrimp, and haddock and, in my view, is comfort food at its best.
To round out dinner, my friend and I split the shrimp & pesto pizza. This is really good! The crust on this pizza is thin and crunchy, and exactly as I like it.
For dessert, we ate the banana creme Brule. I am normally not a big fan of banana desserts, but the banana flavor was so light, it almost wasn't there and the crust had been torched to perfection; it was very good as well, a lovely way to top off dinner.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jessica D.Kennebunk, ME2824914Jan 27, 2024

A very solid 4 star joint. The vibe in here is great (especially on a weekend night in August) and the waitstaff. Funny enough, I'd come back for the Cesar salad before the pizza. Did the grilled pineapple, smoked bacon and jalapeños pie and I'd give it a B+. Was expecting a bit more but very good pizza. The Cesar was fantastic and just the right mix of house made croutons, greens and cheese. Would rate it higher then my pizza. Had someone else in my party have the lobster roll and felt it was meh? And someone else with the cauliflower pizza crust pepperoni and gave it like an A-. I'd come back here next time I'm here but wouldn't recommend people seek it out from a far distance.

Made reservations for a Friday night and it was easy on the website. The waitress was very friendly and made great suggestions. We ended up getting multiple courses and it's so rare that the server knows how to time courses,, which was a nice change. Also, the alcoholic drinks were really, really good! The only thing I would say could be improved is the beet salad was more salad than beet. It was really lacking in beets, but the flavor was still really nice. It's a very cute place with some fires in the patio area to keep the place warm. I really enjoyed the visit and will return. Good service enhances a dining experience and our server was very good.

Stopped in for dinner to wait out traffic on our drive back to Northern Maine. When we walked in we were asked about reservations, while we didn't have any we were fit in at a high top around the bar. I guess you're supposed to have reservations so you might want to check that before showing up.
We ordered the flat bread pizza, daily fish special of halibut, mini shrimp, lobster sauce, veggies and finger potatoes...and the linguine and meatballs. The meatballs were okay but I was left jealous of the daily special. They enjoyed the special and it did look tasty. The flat bread was good and very enjoyable.
The craft bear menu was pretty good, there was a large wine selection and they had a list of house cocktails and martinis. Nothing grabbed my attention but there may be something for you.
Lastly, out server was nice and very helpful when choosing items or asking questions.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
