Excellent and prompt waitstaff. I ordered the eggplant parm.

Eggplant parm itself: 8.0/10. Could use some crisp, but all the flavors were there. I can't knock them bc nowhere really makes crispy eggplant for parm, except a few places. And those that do somehow pull off the crispy eggplant parm feat get the 10. So this is an 8, it was spot on, and above average.

Side spaghetti: 7/10. Flavorful but sadly over cooked!

All in all, the service takes this to 4/5 star tier, and I'll be back to try the pizza.

I took my mom to Piatto for her Birthday. She loves Italian food, isn't too far from my home, close to the river and dog friendly. Service is good and makes my mom very happy. We start with Grilled Octopus, Crab Cake and fried Calamari & Zucchini. For the second course, we have Seafood risollto, Branzino Puttanesca, Linguini with Clams and Chicken Milanese. My mom loves that pasta and rice cook al dente. We choose to sit outside because we have our dog joining the party. Outside seating has a roof so even it was a bit drizzling, we sit there comfortably. I'm happy that they didn't forget to give my mom a candle for her birthday cake (Tiramisu) I wish they have more dessert wine but at least I enjoy Prosecco.

This place is called something else now. Skip the gelato unless you want bland flavors and chunks of ice. The decor is bizarre with seven different sets of chairs. Haven't tried the new Italian food, but I am speculating that if it's anything like the gelato, it's a bad diner with a waterfront view.

Went for a birthday dinner with some friends.. The place is very nice, but unfortunately it did not win our heart... the food was great so I can't take away from the food. The hostess was so dry and Busy on her cell phone when I try to get her attention a few times to call over our server. Although we did go during the week there was only one server which was running around like a chicken without a head.
Our first order came and it was the wrong order. I ordered a bottle of wine and they did not have the bottle that was on the menu but the server did recommend something similar which I thought was great. unfortunately I did ask the server how much the bottle was and he told me it was a price At the end of the night after ordering two bottles of wine and receiving the wrong appetizers they charged me around 10 dollars more for of wine and charged me for the wrong order.
When I address the server he said he would remove the wrong appetizer but unfortunately that was the price of the wine when I addressed that he told me it was something else his response was well I can't remember everything that we have and all the prices....that was my point of no return back to this place. A simple I don't know please let me find out would've been a better option..

We've walked past this restaurant almost everyday but never tried it, so we finally decided to stop by here for brunch. I got the Vegetable Omelet and subbed it with egg whites. Pretty quality/my boyfriend got the Hangover Burger and it was really well done! The flavor combos were great. Overall, good service and cute spot. I'd love to try them for dinner.

I ordered a pizza online for pick up, they charged me and it was closed. How come is this app efficient? How am I getting my money back?
So frustrating!

With the first signs of good weather in NYC, my husband and I were eager to celebrate in the fashion New Yorkers know best: Outdoor brunch! The waterfront is beautiful and this restaurant was a great find. We ordered an entrée and drink each. The truffle mushroom pizza was enough to share as an appetizer with a group or a great solo meal if you want it all to yourself. My husband doesn't eat pork, so he ordered the Chicken BLT with cucumbers in place of the bacon (weird flex, but okay :/). the staff was really accommodating about this and he enjoyed it.

To drink i had the Made in LIC which was super refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. My husband got an ice cold Peroni and we both were very happy with our afternoon :)

We dined in here for a celebration. I was told that our party of 20 is only allowed as long as we know each other. We were all vaccinated so we are confident that coming in here means no harm to each other nor the other people. We stayed distant from the other indoor diners. The place followed safety protocols... temperature check , requiring mask on check in , hand sanitizer on certain spots, staff wearing masks the entire time.

It has nice dining setting both indoor or outdoor. Great views of the city skyline is a plus.

Food is good. Drinks are better. Pricing wise, a little higher than normal due to its location. Staff is very accommodating. There was a delay on the service on the later part of the celebration. Not sure if because it started to get busier.

There is a parking garage next to it so no need to stress about looking for a parking spot. The Hunter Point and Gantry state park are literally walking distance from the restaurant . Another extra.

Casual place but descent dining spot.

Piatto is located across the street from park, which is convenient. My son and I had the entire place to ourselves, which seemed sad. The waiter was very polite and attentive. We shared a pizza. It wasn't anything special. I'd like to try other items from the menu, and I'll probably return here again.

This is another spot that has great views while you're having dinner. We got the five cheese pizza and it was a true delight. Super fresh and wood fired. The best pizzas are wood fired for sure. And I also got the fettuccine Alfredo ( and requested some spinach inside) and it's so rich buttery creamy. If you need and love some pasta - this place has it. The only reason I put one less star is bc the eggplant Pisa seemed like it was made the day before. But highly recommend pasta and pizza.
