As a store, it has almost everything you could need. The prices tend to be a little high, but there's really nowhere else near Charleston that has that many options.

Store is always clean, organized and the staff always helpful. They price match with no hassle! The groomers are staff always do everything to make my fur baby look great and with great care!

Called day before to confirm grooming appt. When I arrived a disgruntled groomer named Susan said I had not confirmed my appointment. I told her I had and she proceeded she was not told. She was very unfriendly but said she would groom Louie anyway..I was not leaving my dog for her to groom when it was obvious she was already having a bad day, at 8am. Been taking my pets for grooming here for 10 years. We will not be back. Shame

I took my dog here for dog training. Arah is an amazing training! Very knowledgeable and patient with her students. Really focus on teaching the puppy and the owner. I am sure the other trainers are great, but I highly recommend Arah if you have a choice!

Also, the rest of the store is fine as well. Clean and employees have always been helpful to me.

Consistent and delicious food. They truly make it to order. I get there any chance I get when in Kanawha City.

I have been taking my dog to Pet Smart since she was 8 weeks old to get her nails done and whatever else we need to get done. She will be 1 on May 29th. Anyway the last trip they wanted proof of her rabies shot. Before I left to go to the store I called and asked if the tag would be enough of proof. I was told yes. So I left to go to the store which is about an hour away from me. When I get there I was turned away because I didn't have the Vet paper with the expiration date. I told them what I was told on the phone, and that she was just old enough to get the shot, but they didn't care. So I had to go home and went on a two hour drive for nothing. I would not have been mad if I wasn't told two different things. I didn't make a scene at the store, but I was not happy!

This place and their employees are a joke. I came in for a hornworm of small to medium size. There was at least 10 boxes on the shelf and all of them were labeled small to medium but when you actually looked in the box they were the size of a inchworm! One of them was already dead in the box and I noticed all of their food was dried out even though it said they were just boxed two days ago. I find the largest one I can which is labeled a small and go to pay and tell the cashier that one of them was dead and they were all mislabeled on size. He didn't seem too concerned with it. It's been almost a week now and the one I bought has not grown in size and I'm pretty sure it's about to die as well. Money wasted and I will never buy another from here.

Took my dog in for a bath; brought her back home and her dewclaw is injured and no one said anything to me. I know someone saw this because all her nails are trimmed but not the injured nail. I will not bring her back....very disappointing.

Plenty of options and diversity with prospective pets and pet products. Sometimes generic/cheaper is better when it comes to fun pet toys, medicines, utilities, etc. because your animal isn't you. They don't need expensive things to be happy and healthy, just your caring. Love going to the fish tanks, seeing the diversity of fish and tank aesthetics. Lizards, snakes, turtles and rodents. A cat adoption area is over on the right side of the store.

This store has no large dog clothes, only small dog clothes. I've seen large dog clothes once. Also they really don't have much in products for grooming. There is shampoo and conditioner but nothing more. They just never seem to have what I'm looking for. I go to Greens's Feed n Seed. Their selection is great.

The manager on duty when i visited 4/22/2016 in the P.M. i thought was misinformed about PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE policy when i walked up to the register to purchase chew sticks for my dog that on AMAZON was priced $3.00 cheaper..... but when she argued that it is written in black and white that they DO NOT match prices ... i just called her a liar !!!
For a employee who does NOT have the information a manager does i would let it pass ,BUT when a manager who represents that branch of a corporation completely gets the whole policy backwards needs to be re-educated and relieved of her duties until PETSMART finds out what other company policies she is ignorant of.
This i know is a small insignificant policy break...but keep in mind... she is in charge of the whole store.. including the lives of animals.
