Q:
Do they accommodate allergies?
A:
They are very nice and I'm sure they can accommodate but thai food has alot of ingredients that people tend to be allergic to.

Best place to get Thai in Henderson. It looks like a crappy place in a strip mall but it's better than it looks. Penn's Thai House is known for having shit that's incredibly spicy. A bad thing if it's already hot outside. Thankfully they were good with getting the water.
A pretty nondescript looking place in a crummy strip mall off Sunset in some industrial area. It's the kind of place that looks like only locals know of. This was a great find though. Okay prices. We got a few things that were vegan. It's about $12 for an entree. Pretty okay for the big portions. I got the Cashew Nut. This is a choice of protein with carrots, onions, and special chili paste. Hot stuff and that wasn't even adding any spice to it. The vegetarian choice is tofu.
For sure it's better than it looks. It's a small place with a big menu. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 579683Nov 26, 2023
The papaya salad definitely deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the other dishes we got were not great. I got Massaman curry which was very watery and light in curry flavor. My husband got the boat noodle soup which he felt had way too much blood, which caused a non pleasing texture on the noodles - almost like the soup scum hadn't been removed.
The menus were quite dirty, as well as the fish tank in the front of the restaurant - you could even smell the algae. This which made us a bit concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Really wanted to like this place, because we love Lao food - but sadly, we won't be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben H.Temple City, CA01922Nov 16, 2023
Just a series of unfortunate elements for a take out diner.
Online prices don't reflect on a price increase yet.
Yellow curry lacks flavor
Not enough food for 11$ (eh, maybe with inflation it might be a reasonable price)
Previous instance of dining here: 25$ per person and we ate merely two entrees and one appetizer. Pad Thai and some kind of curry with crab ran-goons.
Simply put- I'll find somewhere else to eatHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 332111022Feb 20, 2024
Authentic Thai food in Henderson. Nothing glamorous about the restaurant but it's clean, has good food and good service. The menu has quite a selection and price points are decent! Stop on by & enjoy an easy meal.

Food is great. Dining in is not great. Nasty dirty fish tank. Seats are ripped and hard to sit on. Also, walls look yucky. Foid is awesome though just get it to Go!

There are so many things that I like about Penn's Thai House. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. That's the broad overview so I'll drill down a bit. Last night, I went to the movies with my daughter and the movie didn't end until 8:30. We drove straight over to the restaurant after, hoping the'd be willing to take a to-go order 15 minutes before closing. They asked us if we would prefer to dine in. I said we would but we didn't want to keep them. They said they'd seat guests right up until closing time. We were delighted. We have been turned away from other Thai restaurants (Archi's) half an hour before closing and they refused to even take a to-go order so the invitation to dine in so late in their day was much appreciated. I've now eaten there twice and each time the food has been fresh, well prepared and delicious. The person serving us has been friendly and helpful and the fact that their prices are very reasonable and they are located near where we go to the movies frequently makes this a solid win for us. Great spot, highly recommend!

This is our 2nd visit to Penn's thai house and food was still amazing! We ordered the shrimp pad thai, their special garlic crispy duck, and crab fried rice and all were excellent! The garlic crispy duck was my favorite as it was unexpectedly delicious. We thought it was like fried chicken type menu but it was actually like orange chicken type of dish! The sauce was soo good! Sweet, hot, and crispy! Must try! The crab fried rice was also amazing as they make it was real crab meats and a large portion! Lastly, the shrimp pad thai was also delicious and savory! The ambiance is very chill and the service was quick! Friendly staff and they helped us with any questions we had. Definitely will be back for more.

Flavor of the dishes are always on point! Authentic Thai Food!!! Only thing is the spice levels are not on point sometimes, aside from that - all is delish!!!

Stopped in for lunch and had the most authentic Thai cuisine. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. It is a small mom & pop, but the dishes were flavorful and delicious!

Food was excellent! It was our first time in. We had yellow curry that my young son and I loved (and we have high standards when it comes to yellow curries). Husband had red curry, it had no bell pepper filler (a lot of places add excessive amounts of pepper and onion chunks to save on meat) and was also really tasty. In addition, we got chicken and broccoli and it was so clean and crunchy! Such a nice reprieve from greasy, over the top Vegas fare. I'm so grateful.
Service was fast, our waiter was friendly and prices were very reasonable!
True, at first impression, the menus are dirty and the place is a bit run down (algae fish tank), but don't let the cover of the book deter you. Penn's is authentic and tasty. I would come here again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
