So yummy. I think maybe the employees actually enjoy working here. They always seem so friendly, chill, and willing to help.
We always aim for the back patio area. There are fans and clever little twirly things to keep flies away.
Portions are quite large, so plan accordingly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kent G.Vienna, VA81Apr 15, 2024
My wife and I dropped in for lunch after touring the LBJ National Historic Site. We were greeted by a lady who gave a friendly explanation of the options of either waiting for an inside table, or taking a table on the rear patio and placing an order at the bar. We chose the second option, and ordering was quick and easy.
I enjoyed drinking a refreshing Czech Pilsner and snacking on a cheddar pretzel dog, while my wife was impressed by the soul burger (a tasty veggie burger).
The place was pretty full even on a weekday, and I can understand why. The three people who helped us were all helpful and welcoming, and the food and beer were satisfying. A very pleasant midday break!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 2, 2024
Good burger and really enjoyed the pretzel. The fig jam was great. Kiddos liked their pizza and the beer was good.
Just wasn't a fan of how you order food in 1 line to get it and then sit down. Just seemed really inefficient and then had to go grab your beer.
I would recommend you sit at the bar if you go.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 20, 2024
We stopped to check out Johnson City and find a place to watch the Playoffs.
A crusty guy greeted us. We smiled and let him get away with it because of his impressive beard, and the fact the place was packed.
The restaurant had a ton of families, and there was a high level of energy. The campus is a fun combination of a restaurant, beer garden, and upstairs pool hall.
The chicken nachos, light-up pizza, and Turkey cheddar sandwich were all better than expected and well made--the sandwhich was perfectly made with toasted bread, rich Mayo, and two melted slices of cheddar.
The blond beer was flavorful and a nice compliment to the food.
There were only 2 TVs at the bar, so not the best for watching football, but we will go back for the great experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 24792369Feb 6, 2024
Wow so good!! This place was recommended to us by staff from one of the wineries nearby and we are glad we came in! We didn't try the beer, but the food was Amazing-just as described! My boyfriend got the Nashville wings which he said were Very good (actually had a good kick and still very flavorful) and cooked well. I ordered the winter cranberry turkey with Swiss cheese and Wow that focaccia bread was so good!! We also felt the staff went above and beyond and were all very friendly. There was also a decent amount of seating when we went there as well. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and would recommend!

A unique local culinary experience. After driving the nearby Exotic Zoo Safari we were starving for some hearty food. This place was hit the target for a
Sunday brunch. Best Chicken and Waffles with house made pecan topping. Others had burgers and breakfast. Plenty of good food to go around. Our waiter and his trainee were very attentive. We had nice big table by the window overlooking the old downtown square.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Sep 17, 2023
We took a day trip to Johnson City to see the wildlife refuge and also check out Pecan Street Brewing.
We'd heard great things about the food and beer and that advice was spot on. I got their GABF gold medal-winning rye lager and it was tasty. My fiance tried the saison and my buddy got the wet hopped session ipa which was hoppy and delicious.
My fiance and I shared the Nashville hot chicken and the pretzel burger and my buddy got the pizza. The Nashville hot chicken stole the show! The grilled jalapeños added a nice spice and it was quite spicy. The service was great and the people were friendly.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sep 6, 2023
Pfew, talk about the perfect finish. After a visit to both Marble Falls and Johnson City, we made a final stop at Pecan Street Brewing and it was ideal.
Low key decorated with old celebrity pictures and beer bottles, the inside was very toned down, which works. It is a large space, with lots of seating. When we went, there were a number of patrons, but plenty of room.
The food was excellent. We were both happy to see that there was a vegetarian option and ordered a Side House Salad with the Portobello Mushroom Veggie Burger. Both incredibly good. We also ordered the PSB Michelada..extraordinary!
This is a great place for a pit stop during a Johnson City visit. Completely recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 22, 2023
A great place to go get some grub before walking around the electric co-op Christmas lights. We met a group and they had table space for large and small groups. It took a while to get our food, but when it did arrive our server was a little frazzled. But it was a busy night. I get it. But it tasted good when we were eating. My black sheep burger was tasty, I would get it again. The kids liked their grilled cheese and chicken tenders. The bathroom was also nice and on my approved list
