My Pomeranian is 5 years old and has always stayed with a friend. and I am concerned about leaving him elsewhere because he has never been alone. Do you think there would be a problem leaving him alone now. Is there plenty of play time?

Let's begin with how everything was a great experience, from booking to dropping off. The super dog package was fair pricing for what my pup got. The cameras did not work 70% of the time so I could not watch him. That's one reason for a star down, secondly I was supposed to get some sort of record / report card on his behavior with the dogs and assessment. Never got that that's the second star down. Lastly they made sure he had all his shot and records were up to date. They need to get on there ball game days after picking up my pup he began vomiting - coughing and heaving for air. Brough him to the vet said he has kennel cough . Bad bacterial infection that was in his throat . Cost me $300 for doctors visit and medication. Not to mention countless nights not sleeping due to the cough and cleaning his mucus and vomit. So what started out a great experience turned out to be a expensive nightmare and possible future complications with my dog. I'd be wary about bringing your dog to this place . I will not anymore based on how sick he now is. I'm hoping he gets batter from this. *****update ***** paws reached out to me and took care of my little mans vet bill. Apart of the insurance from the company that they offer for all pets.. what a huge surprise and so happy they did that.. PAWS MADE RIGHT BY ME.. will be going back if I need another over night for him .!!!! BIG THANK YIU TO THE MANAGER JOE !!!!

We are always happy to support a local family business. So we were excited to find a place close to home. I do find the prices to be on the high end. I found the drop off very transactional and not warm at all. This was our dog's first time every staying away from family or friends. I never saw any photos of him online just one the day before pick up. Due to timing we have to have a friend of our pick up our dog as we would not make it back in time from vacation that day. later that day he was not the same dog I dropped off. Who is normally very spirited and happy. He was lethargic, coughing, sneezing and had mucus discharge from his nose. He was also very dirty and parts of his coat had matted. We take him to the groomers monthly and I brush him at least once a week. I called the vet and they said to bring him in the next day. Which I did and was told that he definitely contracted something while at the resort. So he went on antibiotics for 14 days. In about 3-4 days he was feeling much better.
I called and ended up speaking to the Joe the generla manager who was very nice and apologic. He said he would review the footage to see he he saw anything and told me that I could come in to view it as well. I thanked him but did not take him up on the offer. I pretty much wanted to inform him of our experience. Joe informed me that we were covered up to $500 for medical expenses which was great. I sent the receipt from the vet and in about a week and a half I had a check covering the cost. Thank you Joe for your help. It was truly appreciated.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gary C.Yarmouth, ME722Dec 30, 2022
Not cheap, but not overly expensive. This recommendation is highly influenced by my dog, who's very happy to go there.

We have just begun using Paws. We recently had our two pups there for a few days boarding. They seemed to enjoy themselves. We appreciated the webcam and the random updates and texts. One of our dogs (Zelle) is a feral rescue and is a very scared dog. We appreciated the girls reaching out to us via text to let us know how Zelle was doing. It's hard to leave her knowing she's scared of everything and everyone- these messages went a long way.
My only complaint is that the cameras are not on 24/7.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy M.Waterbury, CT7060144Jul 14, 2021
Would have been five stars if it wasn't for the misleading prices they give. My cat was
Very well taken care of while there. My complaint is when I called to book it I was given a quote of $170- I verified that price on multiple phones calls leading up to my cats stay. They charged me almost double of what was quoted to me on multiple occasions. They scammed me out of $143. It's too bad because I would have used and recommended them to all my
Animal parents because they did a great job.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jose F.Meriden, CT01Dec 12, 2022
Great place to leave your pet. I have used them for the second time and always took good care of my dog my only critic is the price is a bit high.

This place promised us that our dog would be in a "doggie condo" but apparently that means a small create. When we picked our dog up two days later and brought him home he wasn't acting right. Looking at him closer he has sores on his mouth, elbow, and paws. He was acting totally traumatized. It took three days for him to not be so lethargic and depressed and of course we are still nursing those wounds. We never used this place before and we definitely won't be back.
