Great selection but really overpriced, even with bargain stores raising their regular prices. I come after a holiday has ended after heavy markdowns.
Not surprisingly, in early February balloons and other ware for the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day are prominently displayed. Also, St. Patrick's Day and Easter stuff. Commercialism at its finest, way ahead of schedule.
What Party City does have over Dollar Tree and the 99 Cent Store (in name at least) are special age birthday items, the bridal section, more party favors and fancier, bigger mylar balloons.
This store is in a great location, in a strip with Carter's, Panera, TJ Maxx, Rite Aid and Pavilions. Parking is not an issue, with good-sized spots.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0 - Mar 15, 2023
What a stress free and happy visit to Party City!
I initially went to the Party City on Sepulveda but they were out of helium. Called this location up and the team member on the phone was so kind and welcomed me on over to blow up my balloons :)
The whole process only took about 10 minutes. They are so friendly, patient, and on top of it! It was $1.70 per balloon, which wasn't bad especially for how easy and pleasant everything was. Plus there's a huge parking lot!!Helpful 17Thanks 1Love this 15Oh no 0 - Anna B.Mid City, Los Angeles, CA0113Jan 29, 2024
I am a Party City regular. Normally, I stuff their balloon bouquets into the trunk of my car. This time, I was throwing a big shindig and was SO glad to discover they deliver. They brought everything on time and promptly helped me when I needed customer service. Thank you, Party City!

Quentavia was so helpful! She helped me making some decision on colors because I was indecisive. I appreciate all her help and she got working on my order right away.

Decent Party City location. Not a lot of product. Basically you're on your own. There's no help but their prices are all right.
If you want Halloween stuff I would shop here earlier in the season around September then wait until October.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 7, 2020
I'd give it 3-1/2 stars I guess..
this is the most convenient party city nearest to my house with lots of Public parking as it is in a strip mall.
The store has just about anything you could want for a party, I went in last week and purchased a bunch of stuff for my grandson's third birthday party Including a
Disposable helium tank, my total was over $100 for disposable Party Supplies .
When I was checking out I asked the cashier who is a very nice young man if they blew up balloons with helium, he replied sure we can do that just bring it in, as I purchase this huge Spiderman balloon on Amazon and the reviews on it said I could just take it somewhere and get it filled for a couple bucks... I know the price of helium and it's not very expensive.
I also have the choice of just using a pump to fill it with air.
Anyway I went in to the store this evening to get my giant Spiderman blown up and although the clerk was very kind and helpful he quoted me a price of $14.99+ tax to fill it with helium, I was pretty surprised I thought that was really really high for what I was asking, anyway I went ahead and had him fill it up and it looked amazing, I'm sure my grandson is going to love it at his party tomorrow but Geeze party city .. I think five dollars would have been fair, it's just helium!
Especially after reading these kinds of reviews below.
I'm not one to want something for nothing... I have been buying Party Supplies from the store chain forever, now that my kids are grown I'm doing it for my grand son! I'll always need a party city for the final touches to my parties!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kimberley F.San Fernando Valley, CA06Aug 18, 2023

Holy crap. Terrible customer service. 3 dudes laughing and playing around up front. 3 people waiting. The guy at the register rolled his eyes at me when I told him there was a sale sign above the 50in number balloons. I just said, you know what, forget it. I don't have time for your attitude. I'll take my money elsewhere.

This is such a horrible party city. The staff they had on 4/9/22 at 5pm was so arrogant. They have the AirPods in one ear and the work walkie talkie set on the other so they cannot hear if their life depended on it. Very rude customer service. I was inquiring on balloons, stood there for a good 5 min while 2 employees hid chatting behind ballon area. Someone else that was moving shopping carts had to address them to help me. Another customer has questions about a product and a Spanish girl basically blew her off too. The customer was very upset. You'd think being in Culver City,CA this would be a presentable establishment but it was very dirty things on floor. Will NOT do business with them again even if it's in my zip code.

I placed a curbside order and it was never brought out to me. I followed the instructions and it said they would be out shortly, and no one ever came. I also called twice and no one answered. I really was wanting to avoid going in the store which is why I placed the curbside order in the first place. Not sure what someone would've done if they were high risk for COVID and truly couldn't go inside... not to mention there are no curbside pickup parking spots.
