This is the best place to ship packages through usps. I never have to wait in line. This is a one stop shop for all your post office needs. The prices are the same as well. Also, great customer service. All around great place to ship and buy supplies.
NO REASON TO GO TO THE POST OFFICE - You can do everything at Paper Cottage!

I recently went in with my 4 year old to pick out some flowers to make into barrettes for her hair. I have purchased many other flower here over the course of her life and love their variety.
We spent time looking thought the piles and baskets full of flowers, when my daughter began dancing around as if she had to use the restroom. I went to the counter with my kid visibly doing the pee dance and asked if she could use the bathroom, to my dismay the employee said we don't have a public bathroom. My response was shock, I have taken scrapbook classes at the store in the past and there is a bathroom available. I understand no public restrooms for adults but to deny a small child who obviously is about to have an emergency, is beyond my comprehension. Needless to say I left the mess of flowers on the counter and exited the store. I will not make another purchase here again.
Good customer service goes along way and this was completely unexceptable.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Debbie B.Dallas, TX378767Nov 22, 2009First to Review
I love how ribbons and paper can be unique and beautiful. Everywhere I go I travel I often stop at boutique's and small stores to purchase fine papers and ribbon.
I was very excited to visit a few friends in Idaho this last week. In showing me around their state, my eye caught a small store and I asked if we could stop.
When we walked in I felt that I was not welcome. I did not get greeted, but that did not detour me. I saw speciality ribbons that I wanted. When I saw that there were items that I wanted, I asked the associates to cut some ribbon for me. They told me that I could give them the ribbons and they then continued to do other tasks behind the counter and did not seemed interested in helping me with anything.
When I gave the ribbons that I wanted to have trimmed to the employee behind the counter, she trimmed them and then without folding the organza they proceeded to ball it up and put in the plastic bag.
I am sad to say that I don't believe that is the proper way to handle organza ribbon. I used to work at a speciality paper store and there is a gentleness that needs to be done with delicate ribbons.
I was disappointed when I saw that, so I proceeded to ask the lady behind the counter is there was another way she could roll up my ribbon and she acted like she didn't understand why I was asking it. She told me no basically.
At that point I would have not purchased the ribbon, but I know that once ribbon is cut it should be purchased.
I would not recommend this store to anyone and it is too bad, because there was some cool things in it. But I wouldn't want anyone to experience the attitude that I had experienced!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Minnie G.Bend, OR289Apr 22, 2014
Was on a vacation recently and found this store on an internet search. I called to ask for directions and the girl on the phone didn't know how to tell me where the store was, only that it was by 'a Walmart'. Didn't know how to tell me to get there from a major Interstate, what exit or main road they were off of. Uh, ok. Didn't bother giving the phone to someone else, either.
I finally found it, on my own, walked in and wasn't greeted. After walking around for about 1/2 hour I asked the same girl at the counter if they had 2 lines of paper in stock that I'd been hoping to find. One was from Webster's Pages and the other was from Prima. She looked very confused then said, "I don't think we carry that at all". I informed her that it was all over the store. (eyeroll) She then proceeded to come out from behind the counter and walk over to a section of the store, still completely confused. Then she looked at me shrugging her shoulders and said, 'What is it you're wanting now...something about a LION?" omg, I have no words. I carefully and slowly explained again that is was a 'line' by Websters pages about a baby, to which she said, "Well, if we have anything about a baby it'll just be on this aisle". I had already looked, so guess I'm up a creek. Nevermind that there are displays all around the entire store featuring certain paper companies. It is just VERY obvious when someone doesn't want to be at her (or his) job and has 0% interest in the business or how the company works. Sadly, the girl tells me as I'm checking out that the store is owned by her parents. At this rate, they won't be in business long enough for her to inherit it. :( If they want someone to represent them and give first rate customer service, hire someone who really cares about it and knows product "LINES". I wish I would have looked up a chain like Hobby Lobby instead. :/Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ken S.Boise, ID01May 7, 2012
This is a great store. Open late with a very large selection of scrapbooking materials. They also have a U.S. Post office, which has so much more convenient hours than any traditional post office. Love this store!

I went to the paper cottage in Meridian to purchase supplies to make wedding invitations. There were two employees working. I was not greeted when I entered or when I walked past the lady at the counter. Another girl was working on a display and glanced up at me nut would not make eye contact or acknowledge me in any way. I walked past the woman at the register again and nothing was said to me. I had questions and was willing to spend money if I was helped but clearly I would have bothered them. I chose to leave and go to Craft Warehouse where I was kindly helped and spent my money there.
