Papa's Subs & Pizza

The last two times I ordered from here were bad experiences.

One time they forgot part of my order and wouldn't send the driver back out and said I would have to come by and get my items.

The last time my food was bad and had a rancid taste. I ate 2 bites and then called them and they said there was nothing they could do that night because they were closing in a few minutes.

Customers are not always right but we pay our money to these places and we should expect the food we pay for and we shouldn't expect to get sick from it.

Called to place a carry-out order. These asshats were so rude on the phone, I cancelled it. Take your money elsewhere.

Horrible service and the skimpiest sandwich I've ever eaten. There were 4 slices of meat, 2 slices of cheese, and one slice of tomato cut into four pieces on my 12 inch sub. If it wasn't for the bread i wouldn't have known it was a sub. Don't waste your time or money on this place. I feel like we got robbed.

The pizza tasted great and the people were nice! Food was ready for us when we got there! Glad to see friendly faces!

So the reviews trashing their pizza are a little unfair. It is not a NY Style pizza, it runs though an oven with a conveyer. The toppings were decent, fresh mushrooms and red onions. Pepperoni is the same almost everywhere the sausage is ok, do not expect fresh Italian sausage sliced. It is crumbled sausage but not the crap that pizza hut uses. The pie was a little oily but not bad. I would order this pizza and it fresh and hot. If cold it is not so great. Pizza had a little flop and ok crisp. I could see it getting super floppy if sitting in a box. Eat it fresh out of the oven, I ate it in the parking lot with my wife. It was super cheap and better than Pizza Hut. For the price, maybe it should be a 4, if eaten fresh out of the oven. I would never get delivery from here just because there is no way it will arrive hot and crisp. I think if you are not a pizza snob you will be fine getting it delivered.

Absolutely disgusting. I realize this is NC and the pizza isn't that good in the first place but this had to be one of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten.

The "large" is barely medium sized and tastes like moist cardboard. They hardly use any sauce, probably because it is the most expensive ingredient as I doubt the cheese is real...and they dare call the sausage "Italian."

Go to the supermarket and get Ellios' pizza instead.

This rating is actually a -10. The pizza here was not worth the money. I think homeless people wouldn't even want it. The cheese was barely melted and was still doughy in the middle. Unfortunately Dominos is a lot better than this crap. Save yourself and go somewhere else!!!!!

The pizza is okay, not bad for a small town pizza joint. It does hit the spot when I'm craving a pizza. This place does take-out and delivery only, and there is no dining area. Since it's a no frills establishment, prices are affordable. I usually order their small pizza (with one topping) for $5. The pizza size is just enough for one person. I like this place because it's conveniently located in a strip mall and parking is very accessible. I think they have another location in Lillington, NC.

I was a little hesitant to order from here because of all the bad reviews, but... my brother had ordered and had it delivered yesterday and said it was pretty good "fast food" and so I thought I would try it, especially because it's rare we get anything delivered because of where we live. I had the Phili Cheesesteak with everything and an order of Hot Wings. The Cheesesteak had lettuce on it which I thought was a little odd, but it was a nice "freshness" and rather good. The Wings, I would have liked them to be fried and have more sauce, instead they bake theirs. Over all, it's decent food for the price you pay. I would definitely order from here again for an easy night in.

We usually order the spinach calzone and it has always been excellent. I think anyone who cares for something like this would really enjoy getting the calzone here. They are fast, too, which I like.
