Why 3 stars? This is why: TODAY, I bought Mexican bread and it was stale. In the past they made fresh bread, but the past FEW weeks they've been selling us extremely stale bread. Plus, getting expensive. I bought 10 pieces of bread and the old NICE lady ,without a calculator or register, charged me almost $25.00. I've never asked for receipts because the bread was always fresh, but these past few runs the bread has been very stale. I gave them "the benefit of doubt" to redeem themselves, but again and again their bread has been very stale. Not edible.
This bakery was my favorite for years, but they no longer sell FRESH BAKERY GOODS. It's Very sad. Maybe they are trying to stay open due to covid, but customers shouldn't be getting stale Mexican bread if we are paying for it. In my case, close to $2 a piece, like today she charged. Here's my receipt with no phone to call them (it's a credit card receipt only) and a pic of the mini concha bread. Enlarged to see it closer. Im so disappointed. You can see the bread, but wished you could taste it and feel the texture of the stale bread. I'm giving this review 3 Star because it was my favorite Mexican bakery for years. I'll try them again after covid to see if they offer fresh bread again. For now, I'm going elsewhere. I really tried to help them by buying bread to keep them open during this difficult time, but I can't keep buying stale bread and get my family sick. My elder mother said "wa-ka-la! Que es esto?" / wa-ka-la! What is this?".

Stale, all of them. No phone available to call them. It seems like it's "yesterday's bread", but in my case "few days ago bread".
Bought stale bread and paid almost $25 for 10 pieces.

They have a great variety of breads and sweets to choose from. Staff is always friendly and the sweet bread is delicious.

The best pan in all of Fresno. The sweet bread is always moist and flavorful. My personal favorate is the pink horns but their cookies are delish too. Also ya have to try the jalapeño and cheese bolie. Yes the area is not the best located in downtown China district by the Grizzly stadium but it's well worth the trip for me.

The bread here is okay, but WATCH OUT for their Tres Leches cake because its happened multiple times where we have gone to buy about several slices of cake and got home to share with our family, it smelled funky and once we tasted it, it was super sour and we came to realize that it had expired milk. We called and everytime they just said that they were sorry and would give us fresh ones, but still i dont think they should sell cake to the public if it had expired milk!!! My little 6 year old brother got sick because of it, the Health Department needs to investigate this place. Disgusting!
