Paddy's is a local family owned and operated business. Paddy's is located in Newark, DE, where most of our employees, including the owner, have lived for most of their lives. The owner, "Paddy," founded the business with the main goal of customer satisfaction in mind. At Paddy's we strive for excellence and to ensure that we always leave our customers not just happy, but educated. I don't think there are enough characters available to explain how badly they lied and misled us. I called with one specific purpose, which I was very clear about. I have stained fascia, and I wanted to know the cause and then have it repaired. The owner and another contractor explained that they would remove the fascia to identify the cause, which could be my gutters. The estimate was based on what was likely the cause, but I was assured multiple times that they would remove the fascia to confirm. so I signed the estimate. They repaired my gutters and left without removing the fascia, which was the sole reason that I contacted them. When I questioned it, they said their estimate didn't say that, however, we had a clear verbal agreement, which they violated, and offered to do the actual work I wanted from the beginning for $500+ more after I paid $1100 for something that may not have been necessary. I'm filing multiple complaints and citing Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive Acts and Practices (UDAAP).

Charlie and Matt did a great job connecting, communicating and having the job completed timely and correctly. Cleanup was great and fixed a cosmetic issue quickly. Happy to support a local business and they delivered.

Really disappointed in the service from Paddy's. I had gotten 2 good recommendations regarding their work so I called Paddy's to repair a missing shingle. Came out and gave a reasonable estimate within a week for shingle repair and chimney update.. However, after that the communication and service was poor. Repair date was pushed back several times due to weather (understandable). Project manager called several times to reschedule. Told me repair crew would come out on Sunday and it would take 6-8 hours. OK- end up getting a call on Saturday from roofers telling me they were at my house and needed electricity. Absolutely no warning-ruining my Saturday. They finished up and left roofing debris at my house for 48 hours. I called to see when it would be picked up and if job was finished. Project manager told me they had no idea that they had come on Saturday and would send someone out to review work and pick up trash. Trash was left on my back deck and in front of my house. That day a manager(i think) came out and told me that the work was not done up to snuff and would need to be redone. He picked up the trash. Okay- that's good right? They didn't try to pass off shotty work. Office called back and told me that they would call to tell me when they'd be back out to finish job. Project manager never called me back and the workers began showing up randomly. They were there Wednesday for 20 minutes. Showed up again Friday for 2 hours. Then showed up again Monday for 4 hours. I called the office and again, project manager had no idea they were coming out and promised she'd call back to resolve it. I could still see the missing shingle-the reason I called- so I knew they weren't finished. Project manager calls back and says they are all finished. I ask about the missing shingle and she says- oh that's the neighbor's house. ???? I said well it was the neighbor's house when I asked you to fix it. The project manager starts telling me that it isn't their responsibility and they don't remember coming out to my house for that. Then Pat calls and again says he doesn't remember coming to my house for that and it's the neighbor's house so not their responsibility. I was so upset. The entire reason I called was to have the missing shingle replaced and now they don't remember?? Pretty convenient. Anyway, after a not very pleasant conversation, Paddy's agreed to finish the work I paid for and replaced the shingle.
Really unhappy with the entire process. Their lack of knowledge of their employees work schedule, lack of communication with the customer and trying not to finish their work is really frustrating and disheartening. Sorry that your experience didn't go as smooth as both of us had hoped it would. I think a lot of our confusion came from a misunderstanding of the terms that were being used. What was referred to as a "shingle" was in fact a "custom bent aluminum capping" piece, that wasn't in the estimate. We wanted to fix that issue for

Had a large piece of siding blow loose above our garage and was concerned about getting it fixed before it rained. Was thrilled that Paddy's sent an excellent technician, Ryan, who repaired it within two hours after me call at a VERY reasonable rate. Highly recommend and thankful!!

Contracted to have Paddy repair a roof leak around the chimney.
Estimate exceeded one thousand three hundred dollars to replace a square of shingles , small panel of plywood sheathing, aluminum chimney flashing and cement chimney cap. After the work was completed the roof still leaked into my attic over the family room. This winter the flashing they installed at the base of the roof separated from the brick the chimney. Paddys will be my #1 recommendation for all roofing needs. Called them, one day later sat with Charlie; about a week later (due to mother nature) we had a new roof. After the shingles were removed and the plywood exposed the project manager Matt called and talked me through what was happening before any more costs were incurred. The crew was amazing, respectful and timely. They took care not to break anything by removing anything close to the house, even sweeping my front stairs before they left for the day and they were coming back the next day! We also worked with Bryan who worked aroubd our schedule to come for the final inspection. All in all, a fantastic FAMILY run company who defiantly made us feel apart of their family.

I had an original roof w 2 layers that was starting to have leak issues. I had 3 estimates and my final decision was between Paddy's and a top competitor. I chose PADDYS for a few reasons and Im SO glad I did! From the estimate, choosing a color, scheduling, day of install, completing the job,clean up , taking dumpster away the next day and quality checks after the job was completed. I like seeing why new wood was needed, seeing it in person and seeing alot of pictures after completion. I'm very happy and I HIGHLY recommend PADDYS!! Get your estimate today!

Paddys was amazing. They picked up my phone call immediately and had someone out to my house the next day. My gutter guards were installed, my gutters cleaned and he even fixed a few spots on my roof while he was up there. The prices were fair and everyone I interacted with was super friendly!! They are definitely my go to house/roof/everything repair company!!
