Pacor Mortgage

My Fiancé and I were buying our first home and Kevin Flaherty with Pacor helped us greatly. The whole process can be pretty stressful (pre-qualified mortgage, offer, negotiation, finding an attorney, finding a mortgage lender, etc.) Kevin made one of the most stressful parts of buying a home very manageable. He is very organized, knowledgeable, and great at what he does. He walked us through the process step by step. Our mortgage was approved on time and everything went smoothly. Plus, Kevin even came to our closing to make sure everything went well!

Received poor service. I personally felt that the staff were rude and bad at effectively communicating. They sold our mortgage to another company before we even got our first mortgage statement. Go somewhere else. They didn't even get us a great rate. We went with them because a friend suggested them. Wasn't at all a good experience.

I can only comment on my experience with Tony, the broker I worked with from Pacor. I have not had experience with any other brokers from this company and cannot speak to the service outside of my particular experience.

I bought my condo back in 2008 and am now in the process of refinancing to get a better rate. I went through Pacor when I originally purchased my condo and needless to say I am not using them for my refinance. Tony got me a mortgage yes, but I was not happy with his lack of attention and customer service that we got. During the entire process he was very unavailable, and I felt like I was chasing after him the entire time with very few responses/answers. Now that I've gone through a refi with another broker there is a very clear difference in my mind of how things should have gone when we originally purchased. Definitely do not recommend.
