Pretty good deal overall for a sit-down meal on the strip. Oyster Bar is inside Harrahs near the tourist statue about as deep as the sports book.

Wasn't super hungry so had the Caesar salad and pan roast for one (&38). They also have a pan roast for two option ($50).

Caesar salad was surprisingly good. Crispy romaine and well seasoned, and not overly garlicky, dressing. Few tomatoes and small croutons. Serving big enough for two.

The pan roast was very nice! Scallops, clams, mussels and a lobster tail. Creamy tomato sauce. Served with white rice. You can sub pasta instead of the rice for $3.

They're not open all day so make sure they ar e before you go. Very good!

Was easy to get a spot at the bar on a Sunday evening for dinner. Quick and attentive service, but the food was lacking.

Got half a dozen Blue Point Oysters. They were fine. Shucking job was OK. I had to cut the meat off myself for every single one, but there weren't too many shell bits so that's good. Oysters themselves didn't feel very cold, which isn't my favorite. Their horseradish is good though. Weird that they didn't have those tiny forks. I felt weird using my giant fork to get the Oyster meat out. Also noticed that I guess they don't give Oyster crackers with the oysters.

They ran out of the dungeness crab salad I actually wanted so I got a Caesar Salad with shrimp. It was fine, pretty standard although very drenched in dressing (I always forget to ask for it on the side), and there were only 3 well-flavored but very salty shrimp. I was starving so I finished it, but it was mostly very salty and overdressed.

      Likely would not come back.

We've been here twice, once in May 2021 and then again 7/30/2021. We loved our visit in May. In May, we ordered the seafood platter for two. We were seated at the bar. Service was great and prompt, and we got to speak with the chefs. The food was divine and on point. We loved it so much we knew we had to come back the next time we were in town.

July 39, 2021: we got there at about 9 PM and were seated right away at a table. We got waters right away, but it took o we 20-minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge us. They were bustling, but not overly busy (a little over 1/2 the tables and bar were occupied). This time we ordered the pan roast for two and the oyster sampler, plus the Captains punch and a glass of wine. The drinks were okay but the oysters were on point. They were fresh and prepared perfectly. The pan roast was a hot mess. I do not recommend this at all. The seafood was rubbery and chewy; way overpriced cooked. The crab legs tasted fishy and had very brittle shells; we didn't need the crackers to break into it. All this indicating it was old crab). The cream sauce was good, but it overpowered everything else.

      Captain's Punch.

Food: 3.5. The woman was hungry and we were gambling at Harrah's. This restaurant is in the food court of the casino hotel. There was no wait at around 5 pm on a Thursday. We were seated at the bar counter. No bread is currently being provided and none was expected in the future. We ordered the cioppino and fish and chips. The food arrived timely and was at the proper temp. Cioppino had a lot of seafood but the broth was just okay. A bowl of white rice was provided with the cioppino. I prefer bread to dip up the broth. Fish and chips were good. Service was good. Ambiance was typical for an oyster bar.

      THINGS HAVE CHANGED

I'm not sure what happened to the pan roast. I've come here various times before the pandemic and I considered it my favorite dish of all time. Ate here today and the pan roast was bland- no more smoky taste and recognizable flavor. The sauce used to be thicker and filled with a satisfying bite. My family and friends used to eat every last bit of this dish but this time we had at least half left over.

They also no longer serve bread at the beginning of the meal which was a bummer.

The oysters rockefeller were good and flavorful; just a bit on the smaller side.

ON THE UPSIDE, the staff was attentive and so pleasurable. I would give them 5 stars for their service, it's truly just the quality of food that was a let down.

PROS: Oysters are delicious! They definitely live up to
      their name.
Their pan roast, which is their most popular dish
is really good! It is super creamy and flavorful.
Fried calamari is really crispy and delicious.
Service is really good here, especially our server
Moon, he was very attentive even with the
      restaurant being so busy.
CONS: The shellfish boil was not that flavorful.

If I could give this place a 4.5 stars I would because I thought it was so good. We also added pasta to our shellfish boil because it was an option, but I ended up transferring it over to the pan roast for more flavor. I will definitely be making another stop when I am in the area

Thank you Derrick and LY for your hospitality and delicious food. So we went there because I was craving oysters. The service was very quick and oysters were very fresh. The night before I had gone to
STK for steak n lobster but for the money I paid I would have rather have spent it at the Oyster Bar.

The Rib eye and lobster was so good plus cheaper than STK. I will be stopping by again on my next trip to vegas!

I always make a pitstop here everytime I stop by Vegas. No RSVP, but line usually moves pretty quick for tables esp on weekdays. I usually sit at the bar but it can be a bit slow since people like to sit and chat. A table might be preferred for quicker seating.

Everyone was socially distanced and seated appropriately. I felt safe on a recent visit.

Always fresh, meaty raw oysters. Their butter garlic parmesan grilled oysters are to die for. Their clam chowder is great and shrimp cocktail is fresh, cocktail sauce delish. Good selection of pasta dishes and hot sauces as well. Love this place.

They are closed Mon - Wed.

Dozen raw oysters, juicy, meaty, delish
Tabasco is still the winner in my book, but Naked Cowboy and Cholula are a close second.

Went here on the Monday of Memorial weekend and we were the second in line at 6pm. After around a 15-minute wait, we were seated at the bar area. They do not take reservations at the moment.

Location: Oyster Bar and Grill is located on the strip, inside Harrah's.

Service: Dennis was cooking and serving us up, very impressive! He was absolutely nice and attentive. The other servers also made sure waters are always refilled.

Food: Got the 12 pc oyster on a half shell, and the pan roast for two. Oysters tasted fresh! The horseradish is definitely spicyyyyy (pure fire, though). The pan roast looks huge (and beautiful) when served, but after taking out all the shells, it's barely enough for two (unless we were very hungry?) The roast is on the thinner side, has a slight smokey flavor, and hits the spot but isn't the best I've had. Other pan roast places usually have the seafood de-shelled, but you'll have to do it yourself here.

Price: On the pricy side, but is on par with other oyster bars. The oysters cost $37 for a dozen, and the pan roast for two was $50.

Overall, not a long wait time when we came and hits the seafood/pan roast craving (which I have a lot), but the pan roast from the Oyster Bar in Palace Station is leagues ahead, if you're willing to wait a couple hours for it.

This place was really awesome! The food was super fresh and the service was amazing. They were quick to get our orders, food rushed out of the kitchen and they constantly checked on us for refills, satisfaction, question etc.

I was impressed with everything that we got, the grilled oysters and the pan roast were my favorite. The pan roast flavor and sauce on rice was to die for!
