Outback Steakhouse

Awesome! Used to go to Outback in the early 1990s as my go-to place for a nice dinner out, and haven't visited since the early 2000s. I forgot how yummy the bloomin' onion was. We had great steaks and salads today and we will be back! Service was friendly and attended to all our needs. Thank you Muncie!

Went to Muncie location yesterday. Service was good, they were not busy at all for a Sunday, but the food was not very good. The asparagus was large and tough, with the stringy fiber pieces. The bloomin onion was full of grease. The sirloin was tough. Our service was good, however.

We tried to go to Amazing Joes but their yes was actually no. So we called outback and they welcomed our party of ten with open arms! Glad to have our business. Our service and food was exceptional. We had a great time celebrating birthdays. I would definitely recommend!

Toughest steak I have had in years!
This was my first visit to the Muncie Outback.
The steak was way to tough and I would have gotten another, but the only time the waiter (Lucas) came to our table was when ordering, and when he quickly laid the bill on the table and ran off! 2 other people brought out steaks and drinks.
The waiter, I think, (Luke) never came back to our table to ask how our steaks were or if we needed anything (missed out on 3 more drinks).
After refusing the steak, he did offer no charge, but the Manager (Joey) never came over to apologize or offer an excuse for poor service. (?)
When I called back to ask for a Manager, I was asked why and when I , again , said I wanted to speak to a manager, I was told I could not without a reason and I was hung up on and had to call back!
The manager (Joey) answered the second time I called and after explanation, blamed Lucas for not telling her and when I mentioned it was her fault for poor training, she hung up on me!
Now I know why Lucas was a poor waiter!
POOR SERVICE TRICKLES DOWN FROM MANAGEMENT!!!

Service was good, but food wasn't very good. Spent $90 something and the best part was the free bread.

This place is always okay and over priced but I love their garlic butter steak so I splurge every once in a while. Our visit today was terrible and we won't be coming back. My girlfriend ordered a medium rare steak and it came half medium rare/half well done.
Our shrimp came on top of stale/burnt bread.
When I told the waitress my lodes potatoes weren't loaded she just brought me cheese and sour cream (no bacon) and made me load them myself.
The waitress was overall very rude and never came to check on us..
The guy who brought out our food made a point to tell us he was "dead inside"
Won't be coming back again..

Employees are great. Never had a bad experience in the restaurant. Just know that you will NOT receive toppings for anything you order "loaded". It just won't be there. No butter, no sour cream, nothing. If you order (and pay for) toppings online to pick up or be delivered they will NOT be provided. It's just a fact.

Our weitress this evening was Alyssa! She was prompt! Good energy! Knowledge on all items on menu! Very good service! Very on top of things including making sure food was how we ordered it! Fantastic weitress ,great customer service!

We stopped in for dinner on a busy Friday night. If you want to eat here on Friday or Saturday I would recommend getting here at 5:30 or earlier the restaurant fills up fast. The last time we tried to eat here we got here later and it was a 3 hour wait. Today we ate right in the bar area. The menu has some changes. The blooming onion is cheaper, but there is only the full onion. We ordered one for our appetizer. This is what the Outback is known for. The sauce is great with this. The onion was perfect as they use a sweet onion so it tastes great. The onion didn't bloom enough though and there was some raw breading in the center but I just ate the outside of my part of the onion.

They had a new salmon item on the menu that sounded good. It was salmon with shrimp cooked in a Cajun butter sauce. It was very tasty as well but also quite rich. That with the onion and the oil really will fill you up. I knew the French onion soup here is also phenomenal. It did not disappoint. Finally I added creamed spinach. This item came out after our entrees as they said no lt many people order that side. I really liked the creamed spinach it was homemade and quite good. I enjoyed my meal but we did have to wait quite some time from the appetizer to the main course and for a while my drink needed a refill. Our waiter tried reall hard and did a good job of getting what we needed. The bar is probably more challenging as there are many tables in there and I am not sure how many of the wait staff were assigned. Note this was a Friday and the place was at 100% capacity so I can understand the longer time to get food in this case.

My dad loves this place so we will definitely be back.

I've never done a review for any restaurant but today seem like the time to do it.
Came in with my family to have lunch with our gma. We got set at a round table in the front of the restaurant. The girl needs some serious help. We came to the conclusion that we was going to leave due to her personal hygiene. I do not play about someone handling my food that is dirty looking and smells bad. I hated this so much because we love Outback. Another lady tried to stop us by asking if there was anything she could do and we declined. We expressed gratitude to the lady that came outside to talk to us. We will definitely be back soon though.
We hope the lady gets some help with her problems as you never know what someone is going through.

Please do something about this. I have to wonder how many customers they've lost due to this issue.
