I live in Flagstaff and submitted an application on INDEED. 10 days later, I received a text at 4:16 p.m. from Ivan, assumingly from the Phoenix location. The text stated as follows;
Hi, Daniel, my name is Ivan from Oranje Commercial Janitorial. I see you submitted your resume for our Flagstaff location. What shift are you interested in?
First, I was perplexed by the inconsideration at the least to basic courtesy of calling to speak to a potential, outstanding employee as I had never met nor communicated prior the text from this company. I replied within 10 minutes to an appropriate, respectful response of my availability and would be flexible to discuss further details.
No reply by Ivan. I did some research, and after observing reviews from INDEED and YELP, Oranje Commercial Janitorial has multiple issues and complaints by both clients and employees.
I cannot place a value due to the fact a potential employer such as Oranje fails the most basic intervention with a potential employee, by reaching out by text, then 'disappears'. A link to INDEED reviews by this company is attached below; review Yelp as well. Responsible employees would never accept behavior as this by an employer. Good luck to all.

Warning: this company kept my credit card information without my consent and charged my card without my authorization.
I cancelled the service, which was 7 days per week service for for my restaurant/bar, because the cleaners stopped doing even basic tasks and sometimes would not show up at all. Also, my upstairs neighbors threatened to call the police becasue the janitors were super loud in the middle of the night.
After cancellation, one of the janitors came in during the middle of the night and took some of the cleaning supplies (which were mine)... When i called my local contact to demand that they return the keys (and my supplies), they refused until I paid my final bill (which i was disputing in part becasue of the missed service days). After that, I noticed that they charged my debit card for the full amount (again, they aren't supposed to be keeping my debit card info).
Ann Dailey, who is the receptionist I believe, told me that the charge was done by the CFO Diane Daughtrey and that she 1) refused to reverse the charge and 2) would not call me back to discuss the matter.... Ann Dailey also acknowledged that she KNEW that retaining debit card information and completing charges without consent was illegal... dispite this, Ann told me that Diane charged people cards frequently when a bill was in dispute. She said that she did this to force the business to dispute the charge through their bank and that the process was better for them because they would then have control over the money.... a striking admission.
I usually dont write Yelp reviews but I felt compelled to warn other potential customers of theirs... its difficult enough to get consistent janitorial service, not only is the cleaning service inconsistent, the office personell cannot be trusted with financial information. If you DO end up using their service, i recomend paying them with a check. I would pay with my debit card over the phone (with Ann Dailey) and she obviously wrote down the card info to use subsequently...

Hired them to clean our facility. Their have been three different contact people in the two years we have used them. When I did try to contact by email, there was at least two occasions that I received no response at all.
Many times cleaning was not acceptable. For example the women's bathroom floor had not been swept for at least 4 cleanings. There was one day recently that they didn't show up at all.
When we notified that we were terminating their service, we were reminded that we needed to give 30-day notice. They cleaned one more time, then didn't bother to show up at all. Finally received email from them stating they were going to go ahead and let us out of the 30-day notice. Would not recommend them.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We are deeply sorry for the misstep in communication here. We do not currently hold contracts of any kind if if you are ever looking again for services we hope you'll give us another shot. We have taken on a whole new approach to our company. We are very proud of where we are today. Communication and transparency is key. Thank you for letting us know.

Had them clean up after a flooring installation job for us and also seal the V.C.T. Jenny walked the job before starting so we both knew what to expect. Showed up on time, explained what they were going to do to the tenant and completed the job in a timely manner. Thanks for making RNB Flooring look spotless.

I contacted Oranje at the end of January, 2020 to help with a post-construction cleaning project in my home. Silvio Garcia came out the same day to assess the job and gave me a quote that evening. Over the next few days, I exchanged emails with Silvio for revisions in the contract language and set a date for the cleaning to commence on February 11, 2020. Thereafter, I didn't get a response after contacting Silvio by email, so I called him about a week before the start date; he assured me that he would send the revised contract and that they would be at the house on the appointed date for the cleaning. A few days before the start date, I emailed and called Silvio repeatedly, and got no response. Silvio did not show up and never offered an explanation for their failure to perform, much less an apology. I was left to scramble to find another cleaning company, but of course the new company was not able to finish before my house guests arrived. Very embarrassing. BEWARE!!!
