This location is closer to my office, so I've been coming here during the week, instead of my "home" location in RR. Sara is always nice, helpful and sincere. I've seen her at the front desk almost every time I'm in, and she always smiles and takes the time to acknowledge me and answer questions. Seriously, a big difference from some other locations and gyms. I also love Chandra's classes!!

Great location! What i love most about OTF are the inclusive and positive vibes. Studio and facilities are always squeaky clean. The staff and coaches are top notch and are always warm and welcoming.
Membership pricing:
$179/month for unlimited
$119/month for 8 sessions
You can also pay per class for $28 or buy "packs" of classes at special rates
If you're not sure, you can take 1-2 classes for free to try it out. I've brought a few friends and they found the sales associates informative and not pushy at all
You can purchase one of their heart rate monitors if you want to track your HR during work outs but it's not mandatory as you can still workout without it. These range between $90 and $150. These can also be bought second hand and reprogrammed for your accountHelpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Laurie k.Austin, TX1220Dec 30, 2023
The classes end up causing injuries. I hurt my knee, and have heard of others being injured by this place. The rooms are so packed together, you have little space. After I stopped doing OTF, my knee injury began to heal. The Coaches rarely stay long. There is such high turnover. The price vs. what you get isn't worth it. I didn't see results either. I started a workout at home, and now see results.

Absolutely horrendous. I signed up for a free class thinking to get back to a regular exercise routine here. Turns out they didn't want new businesses. The rude woman dismissed me after showing up 17 mins prior to class start time since they want you to show up 30 mins prior to start. After taking your credit card information for booking the free session, this is the type of crap you had to deal with. FYI- no one wants to show up half an hour early just to hear your sales pitch to get people into a membership instead of letting them enjoy the class and decide for themselves. Never again!

Loved this OTF! Very friendly staff and Coach Jonnie was great. He kept the class moving and was a positive force in the room.

Best workout ever! As a data freak, I love the fact that I can track everything about my workout at this gym. From speed on the treadmill, average pace, maximum speed, watts on the rower, great music, excellent coaching, fun workouts, great community; all of that, makes OTF my favorite place to workout at. I also love the fact that we have benchmarks and I can see my progress overtime! Love OTF!

Love OTF! Great workout with awesome results. I always feel amazing after a workout there! The arboretum studio is in a convenient location with lots of parking, the studio is always clean and well run. I love that they have so many class times, I can always find one that works with my schedule. The front desk is friendly and helpful, the music is fun and the coaches are top notch.

I've been a member for 7 years and counting, and I LOVE it. Super efficient, hour long calorie burn, and I never get bored. Plus, I can always find a time that works and a nearby location no matter where I'm traveling for work. If you're the kind of person that can't just walk into a gym and motivate yourself, this is your place!
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Dec 15, 2016Previous reviewThe workout: Very effective and very efficient - best one hour workout there is. I go 4 times/week (plus a long run on the weekend), and I am in as good of shape as I was when I was spending 2 hours/day at the gym, 6 days/week. I have been going for nearly two years and I have not gotten bored with the classes. As a mom, I highly recommend!
I have never had a challenge with billing, but I haven't tried to cancel or reduce my membership level.
As for booking classes, the system is instantly gratifying for those who book well in advance OR those that book at the last minute. Those in the middle may have to wait a bit on the waitlist. Some classes at certain times/year will be harder to get into - that's the case at every gym/studio in town. I have been going for nearly two years. Once on a class waitlist, I have never NOT gotten in.
If you booked a class and are a no show/no call (without canceling within 8 hours), they charge you $10. If you call, though (I think it's within 24 hours after), and explain why (assuming it's better than "I spaced" or "I just didn't want to come"), they will not charge you. They are well aware life happens. As I understand it, the coaches are paid by # of people in class (and classes are limited to # of spaces in the studio), and this is a way to have some accountability.
The staff has always been super friendly (Minus one man-splainer, but he's not there anymore. He offered to help me "explain the math" to a friend looking to sign up on a deal. I smiled. I'm a licensed engineer. I don't need your help explaining math.). Some coaches are better aligned to some personalities than others and some are more motivating to me than others - again, similar to every single gym/studio. There's not a single coach that I would tell you to avoid.
This is not a place where you get to chat through your class or half-ass your workout. If you're there to simply say you went, stay at home. If you're serious about getting stronger - regardless of your level - I cannot recommend this enough. - Terese F.Austin, TX022Nov 14, 2022
