I went to the location near the Steinway Street M/R station. The person making my iced latte was nice and friendly. The actual drink is a bit weaker than I like, and the size is too big but I probably should have specified that I wanted a 16oz size. Also, my drink had a hair in it. So I probably won't be visiting again in the future

We visited their food truck located in Soho and there was a short line on a Saturday afternoon. The wait wasn't bad, about 15 minutes.
We got their signature Love Mocha Drip, which is chocolate with coffee for $5 in size large. The drink was decent but not served warm enough.
The staff was kind of cool and reluctant. There was a sign that shows credit card is accepted. However, the staff told us they only accept cash or Venmo when we paid.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Alina H.New Orleans, LA246234237Jun 9, 2020
The thing I have probably missed the most during this pandemic has been coffee shops. The simple joy of reading a book, tackling that last minute project on your laptop or having a mid day break with a friend is something I will NEVER take for granted again. I stopped by after my daily AM run and got there right as the shop was opening. I ordered my usual Iced Coffee with Sugar Free Flavored Syrup. The storefront is cute and the counter-person was friendly and helpful.
The back of the shop looked like it had comfy couches and tables, making it a new spot for me to keep on my radar for future remote working.
As a sucker for sugar free syrup, this place is great because they had about ten flavors, which is rare, apart from bigger chains like Starbucks. Nothing wrong with them, but I prefer to support locally and this will be a frequent future favorite.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Alanna B.Los Angeles, CA623303201Feb 18, 2018Updated review
Love is BACK and more lovable than ever!
If you're looking for a third wave bourgie cafe, this is not it.
If you're looking for the cheapest espresso drinks in town (pulled super lungo) in a super-chill space with mismatched furniture and an impressive collection of bootleg DVDs, this is it.
Back in the day (leans on cane), I remember picking up drinks to go a few times before I looked for the bathroom & realized there was a huge back room. Now the whole cafe's more open, but the kitsch remains!
It broke my heart when it closed a couple years back. I still saw the Love truck on the streets, but it just wasn't the same. So, so glad it's back.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Oct 7, 2015Previous reviewSo heartbroken to see Love Coffee closed. The staff was great, the espresso was solid, the treats were feeling and the space was huuuuge.
I'm selfishly hoping it'll come back...in the meantime, there's the Love Truck on Wall St, another Love Truck popping up randomly, and their brick-and-mortar on 115th & Pleasant in Harlem.
Still! The Steinway train station is a lot sadder now now that it's decaf. - Ricky K.Levittown, NY3227Mar 6, 2018
A little late to the party but I am so happy to welcome my favorite cup of coffee back to Astoria. Cup of coffee is putting it mildly, I always get the Red eye and that is like #RocketFuel.
So much room to relax and chill with a full outside patio. This place is amazing, so go ahead and put your coffee to the love test. Try your favorite cup and then try it from Love and you will see hands down there is no comparison. If you gotta have coffee then it's gotta be Love.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley S.Queens, NY068Jun 4, 2018
I was early to meet my husband for dinner in Astoria and looking to kill time when I encountered The Love Street Cafe. I usually only get tea, so I've developed the habit of asking "do you have a credit card limit" before I order, so I don't get caught unable to pay. The really sweet barista told me the cafe's philosophy is all about love so if I didn't have cash, I could just "pay next time". I think those kind of good karma business ethics are awesome! I'll def be back to pay for my cup and leave a nice tip!
I sat in the spacious back garden area. Furniture was a bit dirty, and I couldn't find a free WiFi that seemed to belong to them, but since I was just there to kill time I didn't really mind! The prices are more affordable that other bougier coffee shops. My giant cup of tea was $3. (See photo)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mihael K.New York, NY2595421200Jul 31, 2018
This place is great! I didn't get to stop inside and properly sit down in the backyard patio which looked amazing, but I grabbed a coffee to go here.
Even the black coffee was excellent, and if a place has great black coffee, you know they are legit.
Although my interaction with the staff was minimal, they were friendly and my coffee was done quickly. I'd come back, especially for the patio.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Sandra P.Brooklyn, NY05Mar 24, 2018
I went in today with a friend to get a coffee and asked the young lady at the counter if the cute coffee truck outside was also owned by them . She rudely replied "well it's orange right ? "
She then proceeded to scold me because apparently I was supposed to know that it's very popular on Wall Street . The coffee was good, but I prefer my latte without a side of condescending attitude , so it's safe to say that I will not be back . And to the young lady with the bangs who was so rude and condescending ; Don't treat people like crap because you don't like your job .Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Marie T.Queens, NY4486771Aug 15, 2018
Best coffee on Steinway in Astoria! Great taste and bold flavor. Can't believe I haven't wrote a review yet, I pick up a cup almost every day before getting on the subway!
If you work downtown check out his truck on Wall Street too!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
