I was there on February 12, 2024, asking to purchase 4 flight tickets to Vietnam. The agent there, Mr. N Th, gave me an estimated price, told me the tickets are not on sales now, they are too expensive. I came home and PURCHASED them from an airline website. They are 25% cheaper than his prices. I know which travel agency NOT to come next time.

Very good service for doing Vietnamese passport renewal! The process time was estimated to be a week but it went past a week which is still good if you aren't flying last minutes. The process was super duper easy, way easier than going to Vietnam to make the passport and waiting in line. Don't take passport photo else where because they do it for you here for free. They will call if they need any additional information.

Overall, good service for passport renewal!

So, I wanted to pay for my parent's air fare which was booked already. When the rep answered, I asked if she could speak English bc my English is poor. The guy who picked up was nice and respectful. I explained that I wanted to pay and I asked for an invoice. A lady who had pretty decent English, picked up with an attitude and said they do not provide invoice. So I asked her how would we know how much and what we are paying for, she said with an attitude, " You just pay what I tell you." So she hand the phone back to the guy without saying anything and he said just snap a picture of your credit card and ID and send it to this phone number. Honestly, how am I supposed to feel secure sending a picture of my credit card and my ID to a phone number? I have never worked with these people and I don't know how secure this process is. It's just sketchy. NO INVOICE, pictures send to phone of our credit card and ID? They are rude, sketchy and honestly, just bad business. Their website is a nightmare! I don't know why my parents decided to go with them. I let my parents book their flight, but had I known, I would never accept this. I don't know how they treat their customers, but from my interactions with them, I can't imagine it being well and respectful.

Looking to go to Vietnam? It's usually better to book with a travel agent since they require (complicated & expensive) visas.

NTN's prices are comparable and they include visa entry into Vietnam with their ticket prices, but I wouldn't trust them too easily. On this particular trip, I booked my tickets myself online. I came here just to process my visas. They charged $80 for my sister and I and $100 for my boyfriend. When I asked why, they said it was because "we would pass as citizens" and since he was clearly not Asian "he would not." Riight...so lesson learned, don't trust Asians all the time.

Minus 1 star for this and another star because they said they would call when the visas were ready. I had to call them to ask when I could pick up my visa and he replied "it's been ready."

I recently came here for a one time entry visa to vietnam. Unlike many other visa services, I was very surprised at home easy the process was. All I had to do was to pose for a photo, give them my passport to be copied, and write them a check. I was even able to bring my passport home and filled out zero paperwork! This process took less than 3 minutes from the time that I walked in through the doors!

The prices were very reasonable. It was originally $70, but they charged me $60 because a guy working there made a mistake in telling me that it was $60 over the phone. They accept cash or credit.

The visa was ready by the following weekend, and they were very relaxed about having a family member pick it up in my place.

The workers speak vietnamese here. I am not sure if they are that great with english, so I definitely recommend coming here with someone who can speak in vietnamese.

I will update this review following my trip if my visa actually works; it is on a piece of paper that I just stick into my passport so I am a little weary. And my photo is not the best quality. But we shall see and hope for the best!

Some of these reviews on yelp have very low stars, but I think that is because the ones with bad experiences are more likely to post and the general population that usually uses this service are the vietnamese people who are not likely to be familiar with yelp. Many vietnamese families have used this service and recommend it to each other over the past couple of years with no problem.

      First to Review

I just finished booking 2 round trip tickets to Vietnam with NTN Travel. I read some scary reviews about their customer service on other websites, but had heard OK things from an acquaintance of mine, so I decided to give them a try.

Overall, the experience was pretty good. I got a great deal on the ticket prices ($1250 each, when Orbitz et al were showing $1500+ each), and that included the visa fee, which is usually another $70-$100. They did all the back-work on the visas as well, which is always a time/headache saver.

However, I can see why some people left with a bad taste in their mouth. Don't expect much in the way of snuggly warm customer service. The actual office is a disaster and when I first went in to see them, they had me write down the dates I was looking for, then pretty much shuttled me out the door. I figured I'd never hear from them again but, low and behold, they emailed me within 48 hours with some flight options. They were OK about responding to email, only going MIA once, and when I called they answered my question right away. Their English isn't great, so I think they prefer to do most of their dealings electronically. I also just picked up my visas, which they turned around in ~3 weeks as promised.

This wouldn't be the place to go for a last-minute complicated trip, or if you're super anal about customer service. However, if you're working far enough in advance and can stand their semi-cold/casual business model, it is well worth it. I figure they saved me $500-$700. So give them a try! Just know what to expect.

Absolute the WORST service. They mainly cater to the Vietnamese customer who don't really care about being mistreated if they can save a few bucks off a ticket. The only competent agent is the owner, but good luck speaking to him on the phone as his henchmen/women (employees) will not pass your call onto him.

From doing my own searches, booking directly with Korean Airlines or ANA will only cost a little more with a whole lot less aggravation. I use to buy tickets from NTN because they were a LOT less than booking directly with the airlines, and they would get your Visa for you.. Online prices are now very competitive and you're also apply for your Visa through the internet..

This company was extremely helpful! My whole family has been traveling with this company since 1990. They provide excellence service and they also have an office in Vietnam in case there are any problems while you are there.

My aunt lien and other cousins visit Vietnam almost every few years and each booking goes smoothly. I highly recommend NTN Travel!
