Norwood Pines Supper Club

True Wisconsin Supper Club experience! The restaurant looks like a huge cabin or clubhouse in the woods when you drive up. The building is built on a beautiful piece of land surrounded by tall pine trees, a well kept grounds and a small pond. Wild deer made their appearance multiple times, outside the large windows during my meal.

The Supper Club has a large bar and at least 3 dining areas. They all overlook the pond where the deer come to play!

The "Appetizer Tray" that comes with each meal was a really nice touch. I loved it! It came with a noodle salad, cheese and crackers along with an awesome cranberry salsa. I enjoyed everything on this tray, but my favorite was the cranberry salsa. They should sell this on the side... maybe they do?

A fresh warm loaf of bread also comes with your meal and gets delivered when the soup or salad portion of your meal arrives. A picked a salad, and I would highly recommend the blue cheese dressing. Be careful because, with all this great stuff coming before your main course, it's tricky to save room!

Had a great meal, loved the friendly service and was really impressed with the restaurant itself.

We came at 530 PM on a Tuesday. They had live music outside. We had reservations for 4 and were seated immediately. Our waitress was fast and attentive. I ordered the 8 oz filet and it was made to perfection. My twice baked potato was delish. The ribs were fall off the bone. The beer cheese soup was sooooo good. Their grasshoppers are ginormous. Large menu. For four people with full meal and each had a cocktail it came to $170 without tip. It wasn't as loud as I expected and had cool mood lighting. The only complaint of the night was we sat by a register so it was a tad cold.

We've been coming here for years and love their fish fry on Friday. We only do come here in the winter because the environment is amazing. The cocktail bar is great as well

The food was excellent, and the service was even better! Reasonable prices, too! Would definitely go back when in town!

Ambiance is second to none in the Northwoods! Fantastic place to spend any time of year. Come for the relish tray, get the filet, and end your night with a boozy ice cream drink.

The atmosphere was beautiful- 5 stars.
The bar was very nice and the bartender/owner was very friendly and efficient;the drinks were delicious- 5 stars.
Unfortunately the food was lacking in flavor. Two of us had Prime Rib and two different types of fish (walleye and stuffed salmon). Everything was cooked perfectly and presented very nicely, however each of us said that each entree was bland. Very disappointing.
We are glad that we went, we had reservations and the place was busy. I'd recommend coming here for a drink and enjoy the outside atmosphere or the bar.

This supper club gets all the additional supper club things right. Wild rice clam chowder excellent. Although not a relish tray the complimentary tray of pasta salad, cranberry salsa, crisp pita chips and crisp cheese spread rocked! Fresh bread and the corn fritters with my husband's cod fry were good. The main entrees we had disappointed. The cod fry was good but not great. My ribeye steak had to be sent back because it was over cooked. When I got it the second time my husband was done eating and it was more medium than medium rare. I wasn't going to send it back a second time. Extra seasoning I paid for on the steak were underwhelming and the sauce was more like a au jus but just didn't have the flavor I was expecting. Great atmosphere! Ice cream drinks looked amazing but didn't have one!

After being seated, we waited over 30 minutes to see a waitress. Salads arrived over an hour after we placed our order. Dinner entrée (steak and lobster) was barely lukewarm.

The ambience in this so-called Supper Club, was like a loud beer hall. As a party of two, we had to shout to hear each other.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Over priced and far from customer oriented.

If you enjoy a great supper club, you won't want to miss Norwood Pines. Beautiful "Up North" atmosphere, service was friendly, and our server was very nice. We enjoyed our meals and topped off the evening with an Edgar. Highly recommend!

It was our first visit to Norwood Pines with some hits and misses. It's very busy so it took a bit for servers to get to their tables. Started with haystack onion straws, salads, and appetizer plate. The dinners were good except the Alfredo sauce for the pasta which had a strange texture and taste. Sometimes there's just an off night. The steaks and fish were good. Highly recommend the ice cream flight! The Edgar is our new favorite! Plan to visit again.
