Northwest Tattoo

I LOVE THIS SHOP! But seriously--extremely skilled tradespeople and a generally warm, welcoming atmosphere. I've had 3 tattoos done there so far, and as long as I'm in Oregon, this is my shop. Sarah is my go-to artist (she does amazing cover-ups, thick lines, custom kawaii flash, and makes especially beautiful body art with nature themes) but all the other artists in shop are kind, approachable, and have exceptionally gorgeous portfolios. Worth every penny. These are people who want to fit the art to the individual, deeply value their ethics, and promote a safe/comfortable environment which is inclusive to all races, genders, and body types. Had to tip extra when I saw Black Lives Matter signs all over the windows at my last appointment. Good people, good work.

Sooooo cute and comfy in here, and I got my favorite tattoo so far from Cassie! All the artists seem awesome, it was clean and comfortable, and I felt welcomed and safe here. I love all the plants and decorations too!

Was a walk-in appointment. I loved my entire experience from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left. The vibe is clean and comfy, the staff were all amazing and funny and kind. Can really make their clients feel at ease if they find these experiences scary/ daunting. My artist was very receptive to my opinions on what I wanted and was very attentive in making sure that my piece was exactly as I wanted it to be. Most definitely will be my go-to shop next time I'm up in the PNW.

Northwest tattoo is awesome! I've come here multiple times for tattoos and always have a wonderful experience. All of the artists are extremely talented and friendly. I love Cassie's (@stiichn) work and will continue to get more pieces from her!

Jordin was amazing, he took me and my friend as walk-ins. I went first and had a good idea of the type of tattoo I was getting and where, he sketched it up and we tested it out, I decided to change just a few small things and he was very nice about it! Good conversation, and an awesome artist. I couldn't be more pleased. I will say it has faded just a bit, but it's literally because the tattoo is in the crease of my arm so it was expected. He has an awesome retouch policy, and told us to call or text with any questions too. Would definitely go back if I am in the area!

Victoria Bacon is amazing! I got my first tattoo done here and she was great from setting up the appointment to after care. We had great conversation and she constantly asked how I was doing and was super clean. The environment is also not intimidating at all like I was somewhat expecting from a tattoo place (my bad). I cannot thank her enough for a great first experience and I really recommend her to anyone in the area!

If I could rate them zero stars I would. Jordin gave me a simple, three inch rectangular picture frame tattoo, but tattooed far too deep into my skin on the sides of the frame, causing insane blowout and horrendously deep scarring. Extremely painful healing process. Once the tattoo started scarring and blowing out I emailed Northwest Tattoo to ask for help, or perhaps a refund. No response. I paid 150 with a 30 dollar tip, plus hundreds more elsewhere to try and cover this monstrosity. The scarring still shows through my cover-up. Oh yeah, and he didn't I.D. me, and I certainly didn't look like an adult. This review isn't to get back at them- only to warn potential clients.

NW Tattoo is fantastic. I did lots of research before getting my tattoo. I researched places up and down the west coast before deciding on Victoria. (I would have spent money to travel if i needed to) All of the artists were friendly, professional and very very talented. The other clients were fantastic too. The vibe is great and i will not hesitate to go back. I knew what i wanted and Victoria made it happen. Size, design and shading were on point. I am beyond happy on how it turned out. Shop was super clean and i appreciated the attention to detail. Thanks again Victoria and NW Tattoo.

The whole process was great!! I felt beyond comfortable the entire time! Everyone was kind and understanding. Ryan is an excellent artist and took exactly what I was thinking and made it happen. This was my first experience and it couldn't be better. I highly recommend everyone here.

Really nice people here in this tattoo shop. I got a inner lip tattoo here and it was really fun. While waiting for my appt. I looked at the artists repertoires, and they are all very skilled in the arts. They all have a different style, and I am sure they would be able to create for you a one-of-a-kind beautiful tattoo.

My only complaint is the $80 dollar minimum charge, it seems a little steep compared to the other places I've checked out ($50 minimums, etc)

Overall, great tattoo parlour, friendly people, and lots of talent. If you're wondering about where to get that next tattoo, be it a full sleeve to a small tattoo like what I got, this is definitely a place to check out.
