Went in there for a holster clip for my belt for the second time, the kid was nice enough to fix it for me twice and I appreciate him greatly for it, next time I won't pull it off my belt so hard. The other guy on the other hand, tall bald white guy, absolutely nasty and rude guy. Like every time I go I hope he's not there like he goes "oh I don't fix holsters here" I'm like buddy I got it fixed at this same place that kid right there helped me out and he helped me again. So he came over and stopped what he was doing to help me out with another fix. I wish I could say the same about the other guy but clearly he doesn't know how to interact with the customers and offers absolutely 0 customer service. 5 stars for the other kid he did a good job helping me out, again.

Came in looking for a unique gun. They didn't have one in stock but the staff did a fantastic job pointing me in the right direction. Very friendly and helped me out by printing out what I needed.

I found the staff to be both polite and helpful. Several people waited on me and fielded my general questions around the nuances of MA laws. I found their prices reasonable as well. The gentleman also signed me up for their mailing list and added me into the VIP rewards program after my purchase.
One thing I did like was that is was not overly crowded which allowed me to browse- I probably would not have made a purchase had I not been able to look at a few firearms , handle them and ask questions.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Rich G.San Francisco, CA01Sep 24, 2020
I've gone by and they've been closed when they're hrs say there supposed to be open I've called a few times for different products and they never seem to have anything I ask for or about which is usually nothing out of the ordinary that no other normal gun store wouldn't already carry in inventory and this last time I asked for something and of course they don't carry it ..I suggested maybe trying to broaden their inventory and stock and he told me that it's been a horrible year things are tough right now " i was like huh" where all these other gun shop are having the best years ever so I think that's a piss-poor excuse that just goes to show that this is a piss-poor place to do business that reflects the owners additute don't waste your time or money with this place.

When it comes to just starting out and inquiring, I felt the overall customer service was amazing. They took the time to address my questions but didn't push me into any direction when it comes to my purchase. There was one person in particular that stood out for taking the time to walk me through the process and different options to fit my criteria; thank you Jason!

Great experience with this shop and my recent firearms purchase. The only thing I wish is if when I called to see if they had what I was looking for in stock and its price. I wish they had mentioned that they give 2% off for cash would have brought it with me.
They will be seeing me again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sam K.Lynn, MA0720Mar 4, 2014
I just recently went in to North shore firearms to look at and purchase one of their 1911s that they had in stock and all was fine. I was skeptical of how I might be treated after reading some of the reviews but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I definitely got the "I'm not favored vibe" after witnessing a free box of ammo being given to another customer right in front of me and how the owner and his son was in "a giving mood" that day, I felt like it was purposely given to the gentleman just to rub it in my face, but anyways.
So now I finally pick the 1911 I wanted and went to pay for it, Mike JR asks me "how are you going to pay for it?" I replied "debit, same as cash right?", Mike then makes a gesture with his hands in a condescending manner to indicate money of some sorts and replies in a slow sentence "cash is..... green cash, and debit is..... debit", he then proceeds to walk me over the the price display for the 1911 to verify the price difference.
At this point I'm a little embarrassed and annoyed because I've just been spoken to like a 5 year old, but the nail in the coffin was when his unemployed cohort that came in to hangout with him during work hours repeated Mike's comment to me in the same manner and was making a mockery of my simple question regarding simple payment methods. This is my 5th firearm purchase in 4 months. Some from Four seasons, Collectors gun gallery, and now North shore firearms, and North shore firearms is the only store that has a different price for debit and cash purchases, and is the only store that I have felt disrespected in.
The only reason I asked him if debit price was the same as cash price was because at Four seasons firearms and most other stores their prices are the same for cash and debit. They understand that not everyone walks into a store with $1000 cash to buy a product.
Lesson learned, I'd rather wait in line for better service at Four seasons or Collectors gun gallery.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jessica T.Lynnfield, MA015May 5, 2016
I purchased my second handgun here. They seemed rushed and a little put out by my questions. No time for education when there is stuff to sell.
When I eventually purchased the (overpriced) gun they did not take me through its operation and how to field-strip it like a reputable shop would. No box to lock the pistol in. I did get a cable lock though.
Overall I think the experience was poor. With all the other local and better options I won't go back there.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Christopher L.Westford, MA76052Jan 19, 2013
I've had a gun in my hand in one way shape or form since I have been able to safely operate one- hell, I still have my original FID issued at age 15 that indicates its good for life unless revoked (another big FU from Massachusetts)
Needless to say I've been in my fair share of gun shops. If I have the time I'll still drive to Kittery. However as I don't always have the time, and because I sometimes need to ensure I'm buying MA compliant, this is my new gun store.
Relative to EVERY other store in MA the people here are friendly, eager to please and understand that they are in a customer service industry (the horror!). I've purchased guns, ammo and other multiple trips. Experience was the same on each visit. Please don't change North Shore!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
